Favorite Walk: Leo loves the loop around Hancock Golf Course because there is plenty of tall grass to walk through, things to sniff, hills to climb, and squirrels to stalk! Also, because it’s all trail so no hard concrete.

Best Trick: Sleeping.

Arrival Story: We were going to visit my brother in San Antonio and after searching all of Austin’s available dogs, decided to look at the San Antonio Animal Shelter site to see if they had any dogs available to take home the same day. After seeing Leo’s picture, it was love at first sight. When we arrived at the shelter, we looked up and down for Leo and finally found him in one of the kennels outside. All of the other dogs were going crazy, but Leo just looked up at us with big pouty eyes wanting to be loved. We took him out and he greeted us with lots of licks and excitement. We took him home that day!

Why Training with Sit Means Sit:We are getting training at Sit Means Sit because we are inexperienced dog owners and felt like their teaching style was the best for Leo. He is a fairly stubborn dog and think Sit Means Sit is the best option from all of their success stories and talking with Carrie!
