Maltipoo That Pretends To Be A Cat !

Likes:In his words: “Sometimes I like to pretend to be a cat by sitting on top of the couch”. I also love cuddles and learning new tricks!

Pet-Peeves:I don’t like to be brushed but I tolerate it. Momma says it’s so I can stay pretty with my curly hair so she doesn’t have to shave me when my hair mats. I guess I have to stay cute for all the ladies!

Favorite Toy:I love to play with my purple heart pillow! It says “Puppy Love” on it. It was my first toy from my mom. I like to make it squeak and shake it tirelessly in my mouth until it goes flying and I have to chase after it.

Favorite Treat: All of THEM, duh! But my two favorites are dental bones that my vet gives me and Science Diet treats.

Favorite Walk: I like to walk the trail at our apartment complex. I get to sniff all sorts of things and look at the pretty trees and lake along the way.

Best Trick: Momma says she likes it when I show her my paws while sitting up. But I love learning all sorts of tricks. Krystal (our trainer) wants me to learn to dance, so that is what I’m working on now!

Arrival Story: Momma was very sad after her Maltese of 14 years went to doggy Heaven. She found me online and when she met me was very surprised. The lady told her I was a 2 yr. old Maltese and was trained. However, I was not either. I also scratched a lot cause I had fleas and a broken rib that hadn’t healed correctly. My momma KNEW right away though that I belonged with her! She took me to her vet and they were able to get rid of the fleas so I wouldn’t scratch myself to death. My mom included a picture of me the night she met me. As you can tell, I have come a long way since then!Eventually, she taught me how to be potty trained and some fun tricks. She always keeps me clean and fed. She also shows me SO much LOVE! She says she rescued me but I know I also rescued her 🙂

Why Training with Sit Means Sit:Mom takes me to training so I can learn to walk better on a leash and listen to her commands better. I also was attacked by other dogs before she got me, so she wants to show me that I can trust her and that she won’t let anyone or any dog hurt me anymore! She saw SMS at a festival and they seemed really nice. So here we are 🙂
