May 21, 2011 – New Albany Founders Day

The annual Founders Day Celebration was started by the Historical Society in 1976 as part of the nation’s Bicentennial celebration. The event has continued on in celebration of the founding fathers development of the area now known as Plain Township and the Village of New Albany and is funded by donations from the community.
Lots and lots of fun! Come see the parade, play on the carnival rides, eat some carnival food, and the Sit Means Sit dogs will be there!

Grove City’s annual K-9 Carnival will provide a day of off-leash fun for man’s best friend. Join rescue groups, vets, vendors and other dog lovers from 1-4 p.m. at Fryer Park, 3899 Orders Road, for this unique event.

Load up the car and join us for fun at the annual Powell community gathering. Ten free musical performances, educational stations, animal & mascot visits, train rides, games, rides, merchant displays, food court, beer garden and much more. The celebration ends Saturday night with an incredible fireworks display!
