Testimonials

Bill is a terrific coach. He helped us to exceed our expectations. We are thrilled to finally be able to enjoy our walks with our dog instead of getting yanked around by her! He was thorough, patient and extremely helpful. We highly recommend him!

Bill Juenger (Sit Means Sit) is fantastic!! We praise Bill for his work with our now 15 month old chocolate lab. Bill was really patient and helpful to us, too!! He taught us so many things about how to interact with her appropriately. She’s fun, loving, and obedient. Bill also paid special attention to teach our three kids about safely and calmly interacting with our pup when she first came into our home. We don’t know what we’d do without Bill!

My dog Gus just had his last scheduled day training today. What a difference in Gus today than 3 weeks ago. Gus is just turning a year old and has had no training before this. I was very worried I was too late getting him formal training. He pulled badly on walks ( Gus is 45 lbs), jumped up on everyone and was very easily distracted. When I first met with his trainer Bill Juenger, I explained all of the challenges I was having with Gus and also shared I was worried due to his age, he was untrainable. Bill assured me Gus could be trained. I liked Bill from the initial meeting and decided to sign up. This training was for my dog, but I was also aware the training is my responsibility to uphold. After his first day of training Gus was exhausted. When I went home I was frustrated not knowing I could do it. Bill offered his phone # to text or call with any questions and he was very responsive and always helpful. He not only worked with Gus, it was no secret he was also training me, and I knew I needed it. This was such a great experience for Gus and myself. I would recommend Bill and Sit Means Sit to anyone having challenges with their pet. Give it a try, it will simplify and make your relationship with your pet much more enjoyable. Thanks Bill!!

Grayson, my 5 month old Weimaraner, and I finished puppy training with Bill. Grayson accomplished way more than I ever expected for a puppy. His favorite command is “place”. Thank you Bill for all your help! We’re looking forward to the next phase of training.

I have a 3 year old Shih tzu. She came to me at 6 months after being in foster care with about 10 other dogs after she was rescued from a puppy mill. She is partially blind in one eye. She was very fearful of everyone and it took her about two years to warm up to me completely. She had extreme anxiety and fear of people and other dogs. She would chew, run away, and get aggressive sporadically. She would be outside for a while, which she loved and then come in and have accidents. I needed help and after doing some research I decided to take the plunge and go through sit means sit. They came to me and did a great trial program and showed me how a lot of Lucy’s anxiety was because she didn’t trust me. I began working and the instructor, Bill was great. Very patient, not condescending, but also pushed me to take charge. He was there to teach me, not her. I was terrified of the off the leash walk at the end but he was confident that it would be great. After 3 sessions and a lot of practicing on our part, we did it! I am not saying that Lucy is a perfect angel dog now and this cured everything. We still have work to do! But I truly see a difference in her entire demeanor. She does not run and cower at every noise. She gets excited when people come over. Her anxiety has seemed to be cut in half if not more when we go for walks. We just moved and she has adjusted far better then I thought she would. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit and am grateful that I took the plunge.
