As Seen Training On

Dog owners who have completed any training program (such as the Day Train program, which is the perfect blend of boarding and private lessons) we offer are welcome to join other dog owners for group dog training classes with professional trainers.
These advanced obedience classes are perfect for pet parents who want to find a community for themselves with fellow dog owners of a similar mindset, and a community for their furry friends, who might want to have playdates in the Pittsburgh region.
A lot of training companies in Pittsburgh, PA will do a set of classes, send you home with what you think is a well-behaved pet, and then leave you high and dry if/when things get tricky.
We offer group training classes as a way of bridging the gap between the basics and the inevitable future. It gives dogs and owners a chance to work with an instructor on new goals you have, or brushing up on old skills and manners.
A lot of owners also come just to socialize, or take the opportunity to nurture that sense of mutual trust that they worked so hard to obtain.
Especially if you’ve only done in-home training, you might consider attending a Group Class. You might just be blown away by the difference it can make
Why This is Different Than Other Dog Training Classes
Aside from not offering any continuing education, a lot of dog trainers miss out on the opportunity of strengthening previous training and future success that distractions create. They work so hard to create sessions that are distraction-free that they don’t prepare the animals for the real world.
There are plenty of situations where a quiet, distraction-free environment is crucial, but the training can’t end there. If it does, no amount of food or toys will keep your pup under control when something more interesting comes along.
Group Classes provide a safe environment with distractions and a trainer available to correct and teach. Your dog will be challenged by other dogs, noises, smells, people, peripheral commands, and new information.
The upside is that these classes create a foundation of training that is unshakable by any environment.
Whether your goals are to brush up on puppy manners or your aging family doggo needs another course on leash walking, we’re here to help.
Beyond Basic Obedience Classes
Group Classes are restricted to a client-only space so that everyone can benefit from a safe and happy environment. It allows for unprecedented focus in a real-world setting.
Does that mean we won’t help your dog? Of course not! We accept all dogs regardless of their age, size, breed, temperament, behavior history, or problem set.
