SPOTLIGHT on Sophie & Zoe

Sophie and Zoe (mother and daughter) barked at everything: mail deliveries, dogs, squirrels, birds, car doors, laundry in the shoot, let alone someone coming to the door. It took several minutes for them to stop barking when Lisa first came in the house for the demonstration.

Both have done extremely well in their training. They still bark when someone knocks on the door, but they will quiet down as soon as they are told. Sophie no longer barks at laundry in the laundry shoot, and Zoe’s confidence has increased noticeably. They now have the opportunity to walk off leash in the field behind the house. Their recall is great – which means they get to run in a field and investigate different smells without mom having to worry about whether she can get their attention when they’ve gone too far.

They are both very affectionate dogs and are very fast at their tricks (sits, downs, paws and rolling over) when a treat is offered.

Their favorite toys are squeaky toys and rawhide chews. Their favorite treats are Beggin’ Strips.
