K-9 Caring Angels Therapy Dogs is a non-profit organization registered under 501(c)(3). Our mission is to provide trained/certified therapy dogs to our community. We achieve this mission through raising funds, public donations, and grants. In addition to this, we also offer consulting and certification of Therapy Dogs that operate in firehouses, police departments, assisted living and funeral homes, and certification of private individuals and their dogs as therapy dogs that give back to their communities in a variety of ways.
At K-9 Caring Angels, our team works as a group or as individuals to give back to the community. We are always looking for more volunteers to assist us when other members of our team are occupied. We welcome volunteers who have a passion for an area they want to help in, and we can help them realize it. We offer various events and places to work, so they can choose what is most fulfilling or where they see the most need for help. From children’s programs to assisted living to parades, there is an avenue for everyone to give back.
We also train Facility Dogs that work full-time at specific facilities such as fire stations, police stations, funeral homes, counseling centers, and more. Our team at K-9 Caring Angels provides testing and certification to individuals who want to work with us. Once certified, our handlers and dogs participate in organized events or work on special projects to give back to the community.
