Day Train
Day Train allows your pet to have daily training sessions with an expert dog trainer while attending day care! This program is one of our more popular packages and gives your dog the chance to be immersed in training sessions while they play with friends. Drop off your pooch and a trainer will spend the day laying down a foundation of obedience training. Pick up a happy, trained dog!
We work with any breed or behavioral issue and strive to meet your training goals. At pick-up, your dog trainer will show you the new skills your pup has learned and how to proof these behaviors at home to keep their training heading in the right direction.
Included with the Day Train training sessions are a lifetime of group classes. Continue your training journey with other dogs and new friends!
The Ultimate
The Ultimate Package combines private training sessions with Day Train and is the perfect opportunity for dog owners who want to be involved in training their dogs.
Begin with Day Train so a professional trainer can establish the obedience groundwork. Then work with your dog trainer privately in two training sessions where they will teach you the skills and training knowledge necessary to successfully train your dog. Included is homework so you can practice and reinforce these new good behaviors at home!
With lifetime group classes included in the Ultimate course, you will have unlimited resources for any issues that might pop up throughout your and your pet’s relationship.

I am the owner of Sit Means Sit North Alabama, and since I can remember I have been around dogs my entire life. I spent many years in the Army and became a pilot soon after getting out of the Military. I knew I could do much more to help families live in harmony with their pets. I have never had less than four dogs in the household since I was 5 years old. I have grown to love and respect dogs to where they are just a normal part of my life. My wife, Jessica and I have lived all over the United States, and we are ecstatic to bring Sit Means Sit to the North Alabama area!
Hello, I am a owner and trainer at Sit Means Sit North Alabama. I fell in love with dogs after meeting my husband, Alex, who had four dogs living in his family home. My husband and I moved to Georgia and got our first dog together. She was so amazing we decided to get two more.
We were Sit Means Sit clients before my husband and I decided to become owners and trainers in the Sit Means Sit community. One of our dogs is dog aggressive and we could not take him on walks or get even remotely close to another dog. I was so impressed and grateful for his training, because Sit Means Sit allowed our dog to be a well behaved dog again. We can take him out with us to so many different places without him being a liability. That is why I chose to expand within the community and offer my help to other dog families. I want to help provide the gratitude, confidence, and love I experienced to you. I am so excited to meet you and your fur babies.
I am the office manager for Sit Means Sit North Alabama. I love all dogs and my husband, Ken, and I have four of our own. My sons loved having dogs as children and are still dog lovers as adults as well. I have been around dogs my entire life and admit I spoil my own a little too much. Ken and I have trained our own pups using the Sit Means Sit method. We totally believe in the training.
I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a master’s of business education from Middle Tennessee State University. I was a high school business/marketing teacher for 16 years and now very happy to be working with Sit Means Sit. I am looking forward to serving you on your Sit Means Sit journey to a happy, well-trained dog.
