“For the past 8 years we have lived in a farm with fenced areas for my dogs to run free. This January we moved to the North Indy area into a duplex community that required us to leash walk our dogs to potty and exercise. My dogs were not fond of this idea and seeing so many other dogs around! They became aggressive, lunging, barking, and some growling. I knew right away I had to find a GOOD trainer to help my dogs and I. We luckily found Sit Means Sit and went to a consultation. At that first visit my Great Dane tried to eat one of the trainers. That didn’t scare Jared or Chris, they knew exactly what we needed. After talking with Chris, he explained so much about my dogs that I had not noticed before. We were sold! We signed up for training that night. Two weeks later at our second class, Sully my Great Dane was best friends with Jared and his aggressive behavior was over. I can now take my dogs camping, hiking, out for walks and potty breaks, all without any of their bad behavior we were seeing before. Sit Means Sit truly knows their stuff and communicates these ways with the dog and owner. They taught me how to train my dog and made our relationship way better!
Sit Means Sit has changed the world for us! Our pets are our children and now we can do anything together. Worry and embarrassment has been relieved and now it’s fun to bring my dogs places with us! I have to say that Chris and Bre and the whole staff at Sit Means Sit North Indy are the best in the business! No matter what the issues you are having or if you just want some training for your fury family member, this is the place you should go! Their knowledge and dedication is beyond belief. Chris truly does have a magic touch when it comes to training. And Bre can help you with nutrition and other issues you may have. They truly care and give their all to you and your K9. They will amaze you! If you want more than just a backyard pet or just another mouth to feed, if you want a true fury family member you can take anywhere with you, have fun with and truly enjoy, then this is where you need to be.
“Truly remarkable! We have tried numerous other trainers/methods with little to no results. We have had our dogs home less than a week and I am repeatedly blown away by their behavior. Today my 80 lbs Lab mix and I visited Petsmart. He didn’t even acknowledge the other dogs, but looked at me for direction. Everyone – including me was amazed by his behavior. Prior to SMS I would go to great lengths to avoid other dogs. Our Pug mix is also doing great and enjoying all her outings too. I don’t think there is any limit to what we can do together now that SMS has laid the foundation. It is definitely something we will have to maintain and grow on our own. However, now that is fun bonding time vs frustration. The ongoing support from Chris and Breanne ensures that even though setbacks may happen we can work through them. “I can not say enough good stuff about this company!!! We now are starting to live in harmony with Roxy! Finally able to have our boys enjoy her, go on walks with her, and even show off our new fire hydrant skills haha!!! Which was pretty awesome that she placed for us just as a car pulled up!
