The Day Train programs allow our dog trainers to help pet owners take charge of their dog training goals despite their busy schedules or family life. Depending on your dog’s behavior goals, we will schedule one or more drop-off obedience training sessions at our facility for immersive training with a dog trainer. At pick-up, you will have a quick private dog training session to go over what your dog has learned so you can continue reinforcing their behavioral training at home. Puppy Training
Bringing home a new puppy is an exciting time for a new dog owner and their family! However, it is important to start obedience training, socialization, and building confidence at a young age. These foundations help teach good behavior early on so you do not have to worry about breaking bad habits or behavioral training when your pup is an adult.
Once your puppy has been fully vaccinated, they can join us for our Day Train Programs! Current students who have completed their private dog training sessions may join Group Classes to advance their obedience training and strengthen their relationship with their dogs. As a Vet Tech and Zoo Keeper, Lisa-Marie has worked with dogs and cats, bears, sea lions, seals, and monkeys. She has also run Information Technology departments, taught English and computers in Latin America, and taught high school math. Lisa-Marie rescued a Dutch Shepard mix, Chucho, from Mexico. Chucho was extremely anxious and highly reactive. Sit Means Sit of southwest Florida was the only trainer to take him. Recognizing the immediate and positive impact this training had, Lisa-Marie decided to join the best dog training company. In 2022, she opened Sit Means Sit Long Beach. Her goals are to help you have a happy, confident, and obedient dog.
