Testimonials

I am super glad I found Sit Means Sit. After sitting down with Lisa- Marie to discuss the type of training I wanted for my dog , I knew this was the place for us . All the trainers have been amazing with assisting me and my dog with the proper training techniques. They work hard in ensuring you’re both getting the best out of their services , going at the pace of your dog. I cannot thank them enough for being apart of the growth of my fur baby King Tut.

The trainers are also making sure to communicate to the owners regarding their pups progress and coming up with game plans to ultimately help your pup succeed. They really treat your dogs as if they are their own which is just the cherry on-top . And working with them has pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way and strengthened me and King’s relationship even more.

Sit Means Sit Long Beach has been incredible! Lisa-Marie, Alani and Amanda all truly care about you and your dog. As someone who has a reactive dog they have been invaluable providing tips and suggestions to build my dog’s quality of life. My dog Grace was different after the first day of training and continued to improve through the 1:1 sessions as well as group classes.

Sit Means Sit brings together a community of dogs and their families, all working hard to support and train. They even helped train my parents for when they stay with my pup to ensure she’s getting consistent guidance.

Graces confidence has continued to grow (as well as mine) so we now navigate triggering situations together. Whether you have a new puppy or a reactive furry friend the team at Sit Means Sit is ready to coach your dog to be the best they can be!

I don’t even know where to start with this because of how many amazing things I have to say about Sit Means Sit. I reached out to Lisa-Marie (long beach location) a few weeks ago. Since then, we have seen improvements with our dog, Wilson, that we never thought we’d see. Lisa-Marie is professional and SO friendly. She really gets to know you as a client and alters her training program to best fit the needs for you and your dog. After the first private session we had, we left feeling like we were bringing home a new dog – it was absolutely incredible. Lisa-Marie always makes herself available for any questions we have (regardless the time of day or day of the week) and goes above and beyond each session to ensure we’re staying on top of our goals and making consistent progress. She has a passion for what she does and truly cares about the dogs as if they are her own – which is rare to find these days. If you’re reading this and have any doubts about your dog or their behavior, please reach out to Lisa-Marie ASAP. We have learned so much through this program which has helped all of us to live happier, stress and anxiety-free lives.

Lisa-Marie has worked wonders for our high-energy Vizsla puppy, Klaus! She trained him fully in one 8 hour day, and he’s a completely different dog now. We could never take him out in public because he would try to jump on everyone. Especially at restaurants. Now, he stays in place until we tell him to move. Every. Single. Time. It’s truly miraculous. We love working with Lisa-Marie. She’s a kind but stern trainer and is very passionate about training your dog to succeed and meet your unique needs.

I wanted to share my incredible experience with the Sit Means Sit dog training course, and I would like to give a special shoutout to my dog trainer Lisa Marie Bruce for her outstanding contribution and determination in helping me and my dog Luna.

As a dog owner, I was struggling to train Luna, and I was looking for a reliable and effective dog training program. After researching various options, I decided to enroll Luna in the Sit Means Sit course, and with Lisa’s guidance, we were able to achieve amazing results.

Lisa provided a customized training plan that was tailored to Luna’s specific needs and personality. She was patient, kind, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that Luna was making progress. The training sessions were fun and engaging, and Luna was always excited to attend them.

Lisa used positive reinforcement techniques to teach Luna new commands and behaviors, and she also provided me with valuable tips and advice on how to continue her training at home. I was impressed by how quickly Luna learned new commands and how well-behaved she became after completing the course.

What I loved most about Lisa and the Sit Means Sit program was the personalized attention they gave to Luna. They truly cared about her progress and made sure to address any concerns I had along the way. Lisa also provided me with ongoing support even after the course was completed.

Overall, I highly recommend the Sit Means Sit dog training course to any dog owner who wants to improve their dog’s behavior and obedience. Especially with our trainer, Lisa who is very professional, friendly, and truly cares about the well-being of your furry friend. Thank you, Lisa, and Sit Means Sit, for helping me train Luna and for making our lives together so much better!

Lisa-Marie has been such a great resource for our reactive dogs! After multiple fights between our two dogs due to resource guarding, we were starting to lose hope that they could co-exist again. We have seen so much progress in our dogs’ behavior and personalities. We are looking forward to watching our dogs continue to learn and grow more confident, especially with the addition of group classes. Thank you, Lisa-Marie!

Lorri is very professional and showed us some good techniques to use on Luna. We enjoy going to the group classes to continue our dog’s education in training. Highly recommend her!!

Our one year old puppy Coco had two private lessons with Lorri. She had issues with barking at bikes, scooters, and etc. After these two lessons, she stopped barking at what she was afraid of. We still have work to do with her but Lorri taught us basic trainings and what Coco needed to work on. We are very happy!!

The Sit Means Sit program enabled me to take my two dogs Gaea and Dayzee on mountain hikes without worrying about them chasing wildlife. It’s great to hike with my dogs and not worry about spooking the wildlife, thank you!

I am so pleased and impressed with Sit Means Sit in general. My Aussie puppy did a three week board-and-train since my work schedule limited my ability to go to group classes. They were very understanding and did an excellent job of explaining every aspect of their training methods, their e-collar, and were very open to questions. I met with a number of different trainers and every single one was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. The difference in my puppy is incredible. She listens (the collar really helps), she doesn’t bite me as I walk by, and she doesn’t bark for attention. For the go-home lessons, the trainers I met with were very patient with me as I learned how to work with her, explained the e-collar and its use in detail, and gave me pointers on how to work with specific challenges I was having. Excellent service, very pleased with the results, money well spent. Sit Means Sit is my go-to for dog training because of their quality work and friendly staff.

We took our two pitbulls to Sit Means Sit for training. Sit Means Sit did a wonderful job training our dogs. Kileaux was always easily distracted and Nikita was a rambunctious puppy. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in teaching us how to work with our dogs on continued training.

It is hard to find companies that will work with pitbull puppies, let alone full grown 115+ lb pitbulls. However, Sit Means Sit never failed to make my dogs feel loved and welcomed – which was an added bonus to the amazing quality of training we received. I will absolutely be referring Sit Means Sit to friends and family!

Sit Means Sit’s training program has seriously been one of the best investments I have ever made. I picked my dog, Biggie, up last week and the changes in her behavior and previous aggression have been unbelievable! She’s a better listener, less territorial, and just an all around better behaved and happier dog!

My dog has been able to get off of her very strong anti-anxiety medication and live a better life because of the trainers at Sit Means Sit. Her quality of life, as well as mine and that of my family’s is infinitely better and for that I will be forever grateful!

Thank you Sit Means Sit for changing Biggie’s life! She looks forward to more group training and I will recommend y’all to everyone I know!
