The reason I decided to work with Sit Means Sit was I needed some expert training to help with Artemis the Rottweiler. When I got Artemis she was about a year old. She was leash-aggressive and dog-aggressive. I trained Dug the Australian shepherd myself; he is well-behaved and gets along with everyone, so having Artemis was a huge challenge for me. I was to the point where I thought about giving her up to a Rottweiler rescue.

I was unsure about using the e-collar and thought I knew how to train a dog because Dug was so easy, but I have been a steady client of Sit Means Sit for 2+ years now. Artemis has gotten to the point where I can trust her off-leash, and I even got Dug on the e-collar which increased his obedience. If you use the technique of communicating with the e-collar you can do anything. Sandy has a great facility and the sky is the limit to how far you want to train your pup. They offer many challenges to strive for, and I was able to get into dock diving at Sit Means Sit. This past October Artemis was invited to the World Dockdog Diving competition. She took fifth place in the nation in her division. She jumped 20’6”, her personal best is 23’.

I could not have done what I have without Sandy and her staff being there for me and my pups. We all know times are tough and money can be tight, and we just want to give up. I say stay on the path and do what is right. If you listen to what Sit Means Sit has to offer, you and your pup can achieve anything. I went from wanting to give her up to not knowing how my life would be without her.

Thank you, Sandy and your staff!

Sit Means Sit Longmont has worked with us in classes and in private to improve my dogs social behavior. They are very patient and positive. The facility is spacious and clean. My dogs are well cared for when they board there or are there for daycare.

We have a very energetic puppy and we signed her up for the board and train program a few months back. Not only were they great with dakoda and her training but they have been SO helpful training and teaching us. We have felt so supported from them when it comes to our struggles with her! We attend the weekly group training and they’ve even helped us one on one! We are so thankful for Sandy and Carolyn and all their staff there! You can just feel that they actually love what they do and they truly care about the pups and their humans!

Sit Means Sit is the best dog training company out there. Regarding this particular location, Sandy is a phenomenal trainer. She is extremely knowledgeable and does a great job training not only dogs, but teaching humans also. All of the staff here are always friendly as well.

Sit Means Sit has changed the life of my German Shepherd Lily, and my family. I heard about this wonderful dog training program from a friend and I had my doubts. I thought Lily was going to be a reactive, anxiety filled dog for the rest of her life. Boy, was I WRONG… Lily did the 10 day board and train at the facility and just in that time she made a turning point for the best. This isn’t a magic pill that will change the behavior of your dog, but with the help of Sandy and her colleagues, and the determination and time to train you dog this works wonders. If you are on the fence about this program you get this go ahead from my experience. Sandy and her fellow trainers are nothing but hard working. respectful women who only want the best outcome for you, and your four legged friend. I’m excited to continue this program to make my dog and my life better. THANK GOD FOR SIT MEANS SIT.

I wanted to tell you how much I have appreciated the training you did with me. You were so generous to help me with Bandit too. Bandit went to doggie heaven this week. He had a rare form of face cancer. He was one of the very sweetest, best behaved dogs I have every had! Sophie is also 13 ½ and doesn’t see well, hear well or walk well so I know her days are numbered. I continually celebrate the wonderful times I have had with them.

They have worn their collars since they were two and trained with you. I have walked almost daily with them off leash and have been told numerous times how well behaved my dogs are. I have to agree! Sophie has definitely needed the most reminders, but I believe knowing what to do has made her a more confident dog. I had a painter come the other day and she took her place nicely by the door and waited for her “free” to say hello. My collars stopped charging several years ago and Sport Dog replaced both collars and my controller at no cost.

Best dog trainer I’ve ever had. My crazy Abbey Welsh Terrier has learned so much. I can even let her off leash and she will come. If you have a Terrier then you know that’s important!

The staff here is so friendly and so kind. They never fail to take the extra step to help me out!

I have really enjoyed training with Sandy. My dog can be dog aggressive but after a few private class he was able to join group classes. The group classes are spectacular! It allows me to work my dog in real life situations and in a safe environment. She clearly lets everyone know that my dog needs space and that they need to make sure their dog is respecting my dog’s issues. My dog now does so well in group training that we have to continually remind people that he needs some space. I am now able to leave him in a sit and drop his leash and walk around the room. Today we even did this with other dog moving around the room and he remained seated. She is always encouraging and challenging both me and my dog. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing! I had a few friends recommend it, and then we met Conner and Sandy at an Erie festival in person. They were incredibly informative there as well as at the free in-home consultation. Our 4 month old Berner puppy started obeying even after her first session. Our goal is to have her off-leash trained and that’s their promise. If you are looking for a great company that definitely produces results, give them a call!!!

Amazing, incredible, headed in the right direction, are all words I now use for our Rottweiler, Mickey Mouse! When I first met Sandy (Divine intervention definitely brought her to us) I was nervous to even work our dog. I now look forward to classes and the challenge of truly getting to know my dog and helping him become the dog he’s meant to be. I am confident he will be a Good Citizen someday. Sit Means Sit logo says they don’t train wives, husbands, or kids but they really do! Sandy, Connor, and Sam have such knowledge, patience, professionalism and most of all love dogs. They will take the time to know you, your dog, and your situation. They don’t make you feel judged or bad for where you are at but will encourage and help you get better.

We boarded Mickey for one week and now say that’s Mickeys 2nd home. He’ll never stay anywhere else. When we picked him up he was happy and very very well cared for. So whether you need intense training, basic training, boarding or daycare well basically if you own a dog this is the place for you!!!

We are forever in your debt SMS Firestone. Thank you for being professional and caring for our dog and situation!

Sandy Brady is what you would call a professional’s professional. From the minute you enter her facility, it’s obvious to see that you are working with the best. The facility is the nicest I have ever seen.. clean, state of the art training tools, and tons of room for your dog(s) to learn/play. Having just moved to Boulder, Sandy took the time to answer all my questions, evaluate my dog, and give me pointers to be a better handler. Although my German Shepherd has had extensive training in the past, Sandy’s understanding of dogs is truly second to none. You will learn something new at every lesson and Sandy will personally help you if you need extra attention. If you live in the area, and enjoy spending time with your dog, I cannot encourage you enough to come talk to Sandy. Highly Highly Recommend!
