Austin Dog Training – Chocolate Lab Loves To Swim and Pull But Needs Better Manners
Client’s Name: Ryan and Beth
Dog’s Name: “Tripp”
City: Austin, TX 78750
Breed: Chocolate Labrador Retriever
Likes: “Tripp loves to go swimming!”
Pet-Peeves: “Tripp’s least favorite thing in the world is getting hot. He would walk a mile out of the way just to be in the shade!”
Favorite Toy: “Plush toys are going down every day in our house. He loves to find a way to get the stuffing out!”
Favorite Treat: Biscuits, training treats, dog food, peanut butter…he likes it all!
Favorite Walk: Tripp loves to go to Red Bud Park to swim. He also likes to go on the trails throughout West Lake.
Best Trick: Tripp’s best trick is pretty cool. Ryan puts a treat on his nose, tells him to stay, then tells him to go eat. When he says go eat, Tripp shakes his head to get the treat! He is also a fan of slap jack. He tries to slap the cards just like the people!
Arrival Story: Tripp was a birthday present for Ryan. We went to the breeder’s house, and Ryan picked the biggest, feistiest, and funny puppy out of the litter. The breeder was crazy about the puppies. Tripp was a little crazy as well, hence his name!
Why Training / Sit Means Sit: “We decided to get training for Tripp when he knocked a woman off the edge at Barton Springs while he was trying to say hello! He likes to make an impression when he comes into the room. We just want it to be a good impression!”
Motto: “A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn’t care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he’ll give you his.” – John Grogan from Marley & Me. Tripp and Marley could be from the same bloodline!”
