Dog Training Austin – Chance Needs Another Chance to Stop Barking Bichon Frisee
Client’s Name: Boyd & Kitty
Dog’s Name: “Chance”
City: Austin, TX 78759
Breed: Purebred Bichon Frisee
Likes: Chance likes to play chase and keep-away with his toy. He also likes to try to frighten away the postman and UPS trucks. Most of all, he likes to go for rides in the car.
Pet-Peeves: Chance doesn’t like it when he sees us putting on our shoes, because he figures he’s going to be left, so he goes to his kennel and pouts until we get home, when all is forgiven.
Favorite Toy: Chance has a furry armidillo that he really likes to chew on.
Favorite Treat: Carrot sticks and small pieces of cheese.
Favorite Walk: He likes to go to Steck Avenue and watch all the cars whiz by. He also likes to walk the trails in our community and visit Lola and Willy, the two Bichons who live near us.
Best Trick: He can sit on his haunches and beg for a treat, or just to be petted, for a very long time.
Arrival Story: After we lost Max, our first Bichon, we found Chance in the newspaper. He was one year old and was happy with a family with three children, but that family broke up and they didn’t have room for Chance in their new home. He settled right in with us and has been here for six years now.
Why Training / Sit Means Sit: Chance needs to learn not to bark at strangers and not to jump up on people, so that when we move to an apartment he will be welcome.
Motto: “Happy”. Chance likes people. He likes other dogs too, but a few miunutes is enough. He’ll sit in the lap of anyone who will pet him and stay there forever.
