Why did you decide to have your dog(s) professionally trained?:
Destiny my Pitbull had a really bad incident…When Destiny was a puppy she was attacked by a yorkie and another small breed dog at the time. Destiny was only a few months old. She developed aggression toward all dogs but mostly smaller dogs . One day my company was leaving my house and opened the front door without seeing where Destiny was. Destiny saw two small dogs in my front yard with their owner and immediately ran outside and attacked one of the two dogs. I managed to get destiny off of the smaller dog. The dog suffered injuries that would later result in the passing of the dog. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had to endure for all involved.
What has your dog(s) accomplished since starting training with Sit Means Sit?:
Pitbull Destiny has learned to control her aggression most of the time and will listen and focus on me more then ever before. She has been introduced to a 6 week old puppy I purchased after her training and has been awesome with him. They are now one in the same as they do everything together and my other dog Duke (A Weimaraner) loves Destiny too. Duke bites her pushes her lays on her and she is great with him. Mike was referred to me by another SMS because he had more knowledge of dealing with aggressive dogs. I was truly and am still pleased with the outcome. Destiny is able to go on walks, see other dogs and control the desire to chase them .
