Wonderful place! Did a great job with my Yorkies. My dogs were happy to go every time and picked everything up quickly. The method works. Highly recommend!!

Trainers are so beyond wonderful! We had Michaela and she was 10//10! Really explained things clearly and truly meant to train dogs. She was sweet, kind, and fun! This place really gets the job done and we couldn’t be happier!

What a great experience. The staff is dedicated and enthusiastic. They love the dogs and it shows. It made such a difference in Milo’s behavior and attitude. Worth every penny. He’s a different dog! Highly recommended.

These guys did an awesome job with our almost year old cockapoo Murphy! He’s an anxious little dude and Phil and Kait were awesome in making us feel comfortable with the process. Murphy is still fresh out of training but his progress is unbelievable. I’d highly recommend sit means sit if you are looking for a great way to train your dog properly. They are great people and take the time to make sure you understand their process and are practicing it properly. Thanks guys!

If I could give 100 stars, I would! We rescued our Darla in February from MI not knowing her background. She was anxious, scared of everything, and did NOT like strangers. As she started to come out of her shell and show us the real pup she is, we decided some confidence building was in order. After her FIRST day training with sit means sit she was already more confident, eager and excited to take commands from us, shedding her anxiousness, and becoming her true self. We did the 3 day training and had our sessions with the staff at the end of the day. They were extremely knowledgeable, catered to Darla’s unique personality, and answered any and all questions we had. We now have a rescue dog who is on her way to reaching her full potential. She is more comfortable in public (as are we with her), she is willing to let strangers pet her, and knows she is safe with us. Every day is a training day and thanks to sit means sit we have the tools and knowledge to continue to let Darla grow!!

Before taking our dog here, we were a considering finding a new home for the dog. Also, I was skeptical about that these classes would work. After three sessions we couldn’t believe that we even thought about giving her away, this dog is so well behaved now 👌. We already asked them about puppy training for our next dog and another set of adult classes. Highly recommend them!

Though I consider myself somewhat experienced with dog training, I found myself way out of my league when we got a deaf border collie puppy. He was exhibiting aggressive behavior towards people and had major OCD. Sit Means Sit worked with him for several long days and came to my house once and gave me a lot of practical tips to incorporate in every day life. It has honestly been life changing for us and for our pup. He is so much happier now and we’ve been able to bond with him so much more during and after this experience.

Everyone was amazing with Bruno and Stitch very helpful with teaching my daughters to help train. Sit means sit gave us all the basics we all needed to continue to work on. They will be there to assist in the future as needed. Thank you

We had a great experience at Sit Means Sit working with our wonderful, positive trainer Amber. Our dogs Rosie and Poppy seemed to thoroughly enjoyed their three days of training, and it is amazing how much they learned in such a short time. We would highly recommend the training approach to anyone committed to good canine citizen behavior!

The SMS team was great with Beau. I saw improvement with his behavior almost immediately. The most helpful part for me, was the training I received at the end of the day. I definitely recommend them.

From our first class to the third class the staff has made such an incredible impact on our pup! They took such great care of her and gave us the tools we needed as owners to succeed in training our dog!

Phil has such a calming voice for the dogs. He is patient, compassionate and truly helped us identify areas where our dog needed help. I would highly recommend Phil and Sit Means Sit for any puppy or dog that needs help with different behaviors! Had such a positive experience!

LIFE CHANGING! If I could use one word to describe Phil and his training, this is the word I would use. Since I started training my dog with Phil, I have gotten so many compliments from people saying how they are so impressed with how well behaved my dog is. And it all due to Phil and his guidance. Phil is incredibly knowledgable about dogs and their behavior, I trust his word. His calm demeanor is inspiring, he never ever raises his voice. My dog who is a 100 pound 10 month old Lab/German Shepherd now listens to my every word. I can have him off leash […] Not only have I seen Phil change my dog’s life, I have seen him do it with other dogs during group classes, honestly he’s phenomenal. His prices are VERY reasonable for the value he gives, I promise you that you will not find another trainer with such high quality training at such a great price! I ensure that you will not regret your decision to train your dog here with Phil! 🙂

Can not say enough positive things about the total experience. The private lessons were great and gave confidence to both “JJ “ and myself. I was a little apprehensive about group classes at first because of the way JJ always acted around other dogs, but now after four lessons, we could not be any more comfortable. Phil is an excellent instructor and knows what he is doing. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone looking to have their dog trained by the best!

We are so thrilled with Phil of Sit mean Sit! We looked at several trainers before picking him and started Koa with the Tutor program. At only 5 months old, he was showing food protection and we tried everything on our own. We knew we needed help to stop that behavior right away! Koa responded well and quickly to Phil and his training! He is a happy 7 month old now and almost completely reversed from the ‘food protection’ behavior! He responds well and I now that we will have an amazing dog with great behavior when he is a full grown 120lb doggy! Thank you Phil for your help!!

I am so impressed with the positive changes in my dog Max, all thanks to Phil and Sit Means Sit. Max went from pulling and not listening during our walks to staying right by my side, even with distractions. I highly recommend Phil and Sit Means Sit to anyone that has a dog that needs a little help or even a lot of help.

Phil is an incredible and patient trainer. He has been working with our 3 year old German Shepard, Luna for the last couple of months. We have already seen a tremendous progress specially with her behavior while walking on the leash and interacting with strangers and other dogs. We have started the group classes which are great as we have the opportunity to train with many distractions. We highly recommend the program. It is very worth it.

We can’t show enough appreciation for Phil’s assistance with Oakley! His dedication and patience in the most trying times made the learning process so much less stressful. Oakley has come miles, and can now go miles with us!! Vizslas are known for their high energy and Phil knew exactly how to work with him. He was right there with us the whole way and still is. Thank you !!

Bella is doing so well with her training! We have gone for walks 3x a day at least, and she is doing an amazing job ignoring other dogs!!! She is much happier and less anxious around other dogs!!!! I can’t believe the progress she has made in only 2 weeks! We are SO HAPPY!!!! I can’t wait to continue this amazing training and see her thrive in different environments full of doggies! Thank Phil for doing an amazing job training with Bella and teaching us the proper training!

We are ecstatic with the progress our pups have made! No more excessive barking, chasing cars and no more dog aggression towards other dogs when we take family walks. So much less stressful for our whole family now that we have the ground rules and tools to lead 🐕🐾

Thank you Phil and Sit Means Sit for transforming my rowdy, jumping, shy, barking dog into the amazing Oakley she was meant to be. The first lesson upon her return to the house was complete and informative. I feel very comfortable continuing with her training, and was so happy when she stayed in “place”, this evening as a bunch of rabbits ran by us. I am speechless at how much she improved in just two weeks. Thank you!!!

Our new 9 month old Border Collie rescue puppy came with some challenges! We tried traditional training and Queso failed big time. After meeting with Phil at Sit Means Sit we were sold. He brought a few of his dogs to show us a bit about the training. We just couldn’t believe it! Now Queso is able to greet guests at our front door with much ease and actually can run & walk off-leash with our commands. We couldn’t be happier and I would recommend Sit Means Sit for lifetime training and for boarding any time!
