Testimonials

Our 11 month Goldendoodle has been working the Sit Means Sit training program for the last 6 weeks and the change has been remarkable. Highly recommend to help set fundamentals. Our Lucky can be in the front yard with all sorts of distractions and we do not have to worry about him running off! Great investment for our family!

My puppy has learned so much in such a short period of time! I have been very happy with my experience and the staff.

Chase really helped me help my dogs listen better and gave me great tips/tools to continue outside of our one on one trainings. Loved my experience here!

Amazing transformation in just 10 mins for my evaluation! Lukas was great and never even used a verbal command with my dog. It was like I had a completely different dog! I went through 2 training sessions with K9 university and nothing compared to what Lukas did in 10 mins with my dog! Would definitely recommend great staff and so friendly.

I would be remiss if I didn’t let people know the amazing results we received from our training at Sit Means Sit. Prior to training we had what we thought was a typical puppy, a very big one (Pyrenees/Lab mix), who didn’t listen very well, sometimes did what we wanted, had some food aggression, and bullied one of our older dogs. After training our very sweet puppy was a different dog. Not only was he well disciplined and respectful to us and our older dogs, he seemed much happier too! He regularly gets on his cot/place on his own before we sit down to eat. He LOVES it! And it is great that he comes when called even if he is running the fence line of our 11 acres. He also behaves better on activities that weren’t even a part of the training. He often took a very long time while eating and when he came home, he began eating when we put the food down, and finished it all so there hasn’t been one incident of aggression. Additionally, every night when we were headed to bed we had to coerce him with treats to go outside to do his business and then get in his crate for bed and every since training this is nighttime ritual has not been a problem. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome our the Sit Means Sit training, and we love that we can continue training with large groups of dogs, at varying levels of training, twice a month. These are great group classes!!

Thank you Lucas and all at Sit Means Sit.

Just picked emily up from her stay in the program. All I can say is WOW! Emily is a 6 month old german shepherd who, prior to going thru the program was wound up 100 percent of the time and had selective hearing. Picking her up today she is amazing. To say that she is a different dog is totally wrong. She is the same dog, just with boundaries now. She listens to commands and is a joy to have around. Thanks so much to lucas and the whole staff there, their commitment to working with the dogs is so great! I would recommend them to anyone whether it’s simple obedient commands to really cool advanced training! Thanks again to the crew for taking a great deal of stress out of our lives!

I have used Sit means Sit twice, and I have absolutely loved the results! This past Christmas, I gave the 5 day immersion program to my sister for her puppy London. When London came home a week later, she was so well behaved and for my sister’s busy family it was truly life changing! A few weeks ago I also did the 5 day immersion program for my dog Winnie (London’s sister) and am equally amazed at her results! Thank you to Hanna and Kristine (and all the trainers) who have helped London and Winnie become the well behaved dogs that I know they can be! London and Winnie absolutely adore you, and are so excited when I pull into your parking lot!! I highly recommend Sit Means Sit as they have gone above and beyond to work with our families and we love every minute of our time with them.

We are so thankful for Sit Means Sit. Lukas was highly recommend to us and we would highly recommend him to anyone. The difference he made in just the 1st training session was remarkable. We are so thankful for Lukas and feel so blessed that we got the best dog trainer in the state.

We have 2 dogs, and one of them is a sweet little mut that had a really rough life before we adopted him. Because of that he had a lot of behavioral problems including anxiety and violent behavior toward other dogs and some people. He was very poorly behaved and would not mind at all.
After his training at “”Sit Means Sit”” the transformation was unbelievable. His behavior problems went away. He minds. He can be around other dogs without any interest in them whatsoever. But the training doesn’t mean you get your dog back and he’s cured for life. Like any training, you will have to work with your dog to ensure he maintains the level of obedience required.

But I can tell you that the results are amazing and you and your dog will be happy after the training. I’ll be the first one to say that I was reluctant about the use of shock collars, so I do understand people having doubts. I had also read some bad reviews about “”Sit Means Sit”” (by people that don’t even have dogs) which added to my doubts. But after sitting down and discussing the training program with Lucas, all our doubts were put to rest. And I can tell you that our dog has no negative reaction to having his collar put on which tells me that he has no anxiety over the collar. Quite the opposite as a matter of fact.

If you are having a problem with your dog, give Lucas and “”Sit Means Sit”” the opportunity to show you what they can do. I promise that you will not be disappointed!!
