Testimonials

We took our rescue to Sit-Means-Sit because of being between a rock and a hard place. His reactivity while on walks was making it VERY STRESSFUL to take him out. We tried two other training facilities before Sit-Means-Sit, yet no success. With the help of the INCREDIBLE trainers Dominic, Morgan, Katie, and Cassie – Obi is on his way to being the confident pup we know he can be! We are looking forward to continued support and reactivity classes! We HIGHLY recommend this incredible place to learn about how to truly help your beloved pup!

Thank you everyone for creating a space that was judgment free so that we can give Obi a long happy life!

I can not recommend them enough! I have a rescued 9 year old German Shepard/ husky who was terrified of dogs and we never thought we could have a dog because of her fears. Sit means sit has made that possible for us. She went to the one week board and train and fell in love with the trainers. She gets so excited to see them and even gave one of the female trainers kisses in her face which never happens with females. We have done months of one on one and group classes and she has bloomed and become such a happy and confident dog. We were able to reach our big goal of bringing another dog home and she was perfect! Her training paid off and it showed. She acted like she knew our other dog her whole life in just the first day. Sit means sit is worth the price and their training does work as long as you put the effort in as well. They teach you to work with your dog and build a strong bond.

I brought my first dog here to help train with her aggression and within the first week I noticed such a difference with her attention and behavior! I just finished puppy training with my new dog and already have seen such a difference with him growing up! The trainers here are diligent and really show you how facilitate the training at home! Our puppy kai is always getting compliments of how well behaved he is around other people and I couldn’t of gotten him to this point without their guidance and training!

ALEXIS J

My dog, Roux, completed her day train program today and our experience has been great! From her puppy classes through 5 weeks of day train she has learned a lot and demonstrated her intelligence and trainability! We have worked with Alexa, Dom, Karleigh, Cassie, Sean and Morgan and all have been great to meet and work with. All the trainers we got to know showed patience, kindness and their expertise for our puppy. The trainers are very knowledgeable and work around your dogs strengths and weaknesses and maximize on their full potential not just the basics. Roux was excited to go to “school” every week and we can’t wait to begin group classes!

Enrolling my 2 year old female German Shepherd in this training was one of the best decisions I have made. Instead of dragging me down street we can now go for casual and relaxing walks. The entire staff was extremely friendly and informative and took the time to set myself and my dog up to succeed.

The entire training staff was amazing, and we worked with a few trainers, all extremely pleasant and informative, and flexible with changing schedules (Karleigh, Dominic, Cassandra, Katie, and Alexis were all phenomenal). I 10/10 recommend this if you are looking for a great training service in the KOP Area.

ELLEN D

Amazing results! From the very beginning of our sit means sit journey the quality of service was nothing less than 5 stars. The consultation went really well and incredibly detailed on the goals we wanted to achieve with our yorkie yager. After the first class we were amazed how quickly he picked up everything he learned from training. By the last lesson we had so much confidence when we bring him to the dog park or even when we are just bringing him through the lobby when there’s a lot of distractions going on. A big thank you to Sean, Alexa, Karleigh, Morgan, and Cassie for all the work they did to lay a foundation for yager. Excited for group classes to begin! Would highly recommend anyone who is looking to get their furry friend trained!

Our super excited and ‘aggressively friendly’ chocolate lab is 3yrs old and we knew it was time to address her jumping (the puppy obedience ‘off’ never caught on and our hopes of growing out of it were lost!). We admit at first to feeling tentative, but I am so glad we went forward with the program. The change in her has been monumental — I am so thankful for this program and have nothing but amazing things to say about each and every trainer I interacted with. If you’re on the fence, this investment is SO worth it as long as you put in the work! Thank you to all the super dedicated dog-loving trainers, you’re the best!

Prepare to be amazed! On day 1, I dropped Otis off at SMS and wondered what could they possibly teach him in 8 hrs. Well, Otis became a new man and learned some new skills!! There are not enough adjectives or emotions to describe how Otis and I have learned to improve our communication with one another. The transformation is incredible and you get out of this program what you put in. Every week, SMS taught Otis new skills that I never thought were possible. I can’t thank Cassie, Morgan, Karleigh, Sean and the entire SMS Team for their patience, guidance and incredible talent to teach me skills to better control Otis and communicate more efficiently and effectively with him. I’m absolutely amazed!!!

We our lovely rescue pit mix Onida , she had lived in the streets and went through a rough time before we rescued her. She was found with her puppy’s which were all adopted faster than her. We feel so lucky that we ended up adopting her since she engaged with us right away . Since she had a rough life she is very reactive towards other dogs . At sit means sit they did a great job and helped us enormously to be able to redirect her and control situations where she sees another dog , every lesson was a huge improvement for our fur daughter. All the trainers are high professionals and very impressive at their job. Since I personally have some kind of previous traumas with others dogs,  sit means sit made me feel secure, confident, and comfortable working and learning from them.

Georges & Luke J.

We had an amazing experience with all of the trainers at Sit Means Sit. Throughout the weeks, our dog worked with Cassie, Morgan, Sean, and Dom. Each and every one of them were invested in our dogs progress, and we saw so much growth in him each week that went by. The first week, our dog would lay and refuse to walk. Fast forward 5 weeks later, and we are heeling past other dogs/distractions on the street and our dog has full confidence in himself. We would recommend this facility to all our family and friends! Thanks for giving our dog the training to be a happy, confident dog!

ASHLEY E.

We were nervous – how is it going to work, can this work with my bad boy, will it work or be too much for us. They answered our questions, trained our puppy, trained us, stand by their work. Shout out to Trainers Morgan, Karleigh, Cassie and Sean who worked with Oreo – you were professional, competent, effective, patient. SMS gave good value for the cost and we look forward to trying group lessons after completing the basic series.

Sit means Sit is the real deal. They took our dog who could not focus on us and transformed him into a much more attentive dog who looks and listens. His breed is very high strung.

The dog owners do have to put in the homework to reinforce what they teach the dog. It’s a pleasure to do that with the solid groundwork they do. They take the time to explain after a day’s session. Each visit produced marked improvement.

His undesirable behavior is fading away and he pays attention to us. Great job.

BRYAN L.

Sit Means Sit was an incredible program for my dog, Murphy! Murphy is a 5 year old beagle that struggles with dog reactivity and resource guarding. He never gave us his attention and had no recall skills. Since Murphy started training at Sit Means Sit, he has listened and obeyed more at home more than he EVER has before. I have so much more control of him on our walks and he has amazing recall skills within the home and in the yard. His resource guarding behaviors have gone down considerably. He has shown incredible improvement compared to the past.

The lessons have been very helpful and informative, too. Dom and Cassie trained with Murphy, and I am so happy with my interactions with them. I highly recommend them! They were very patient with both me and Murphy, and I could tell they treated Murphy kindly. They even gave us strategies and advice to practice correcting behaviors that Murphy would not showcase at training. This was very helpful because I know what I can do with him at home to continue improvement.

I am grateful I enrolled Murphy in this program and I look forward to learning more in group class.

Before signing up for the Diamond training we were put in a tough spot of possibly having to re-home one of our fur babies. Thanks to the education and help from Sal, Dominic, Cassandra, Karleigh, Chloe, and Sean we were able to help our two dogs get along and live together peacefully. Can’t wait to see the continued work in group classes!

ALICIA G.

Great experience and my puppy Enzo was so excited to go each day! So much progress made, almost instant results. The trainers explained everything very thoroughly and explained it step by step! Definitely taking every dog I get to Sit Means Sit Philly!!!

DORI D.

My experience with this place was awesome. Everyone was wonderful and my dog came out a different attitude. Everyone loved him because he was happy when he got there. I recommend this place to one of my friends and I hope he does go because it is worth it. When I get another dog I’m definitely taking my dog back here.

JAMES B.

I did the 5 week course with my almost two year old standard Golden doodle Milo, his issues were jumping, leash pulling, excessive barking and overall just needed to learn basic manners. The team and trainers at SMS made me feel like we were in good hands since day one! Milo was excited to go every morning, he learned a lot and i slowly noticed a change in his behavior. It’s not easy but everyone is super helpful and really want to see you succeed. They give you the tools you need to do so. You have to put in the work as well if you want to see results but it’s nice knowing that the skills you and your pup are learning are going to be lifelong. I would definitely recommend SMS to anyone that has the time to dedicate to training as well because it was definitely a shock to me just how involved i had to be but it’s been fun. Thanks guys and s/o to all of Milo’s trainers you guys are great!!

ARLINNE C.

Trainers got to know my dog’s personality well and worked with her in a manner that she would respond to. They explained how to work with my dog and encouraged questions and helped reinforce training when she didn’t get it.

AMY H.

I can’t even find the words to describe how happy and pleased I am with SMS! My (now 6mo old golden retriever) went through puppy classes then a five week program with these amazing trainers. They have built such confidence and obedience in my young puppy that I am so exited to watch grow into her adulthood. They truly listened to our needs and tailored a program just for her. The BEST investment I’ve ever made!

ERIN P.

Incredible progress since day 1 of training! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and show true passion during training. Myself and Creed worked with Chloe, Sean, Karleigh, and Morgan with ease. 10/10 recommend for anyone

ALEX D.

What an amazing group of trainers! Very knowledgeable and professional. We are so happy at the progress our Sadi and Koda made while training at their facility. I my wife can finally feel confident and in control walking our dogs. Can’t say enough good things. Can’t wait to sign up for Group Classes to further our dogs training. Would trust them to work with any dogs we get in the future.

MARK & AIMEE B

Sit means sit was life changing for the relationship I have with my golden retriever, Bunny. I love her so much but before training she pulled on the leash, had a terrible recall and she was super excitable which made her difficult to control. She was always sweet as can be but just not a good listener. Our goals were to be able to take her places, walk her without being pulled and have her come when called. I’m happy to say we accomplished all of our goals and then some. Bunny understands what’s expected of her and she listens and everyone compliments what a great dog she is. We saw improvement in the first week! Not only that, Bunny really genuinely enjoyed going to the program and loved all the trainers! Sean, Kayleigh, Chloe, Alexa and Dominic were all incredible kind and helpful. They loved Bunny and I felt like they were non judgmental and very clear when they were showing me how to maintain the training and answer all my questions and concerns. This was our fourth obedience school and the only one that worked. If you want a dog who listens, enjoys the training and an overall better relationship with your dog, don’t bother going anywhere else. We got the diamond package and drove back and forth to Wilmington each session and it was beyond worth it.

JESSICA K.

Our dog Hudson was quite wild and stubborn when we began training here. Being 3.5 years old, he knew basic commands, but only performed them when he wanted to. He was also highly reactive with people coming onto our property, as well as dogs visiting us.The trainers are very knowledgeable in dog behavior, super kind, and extremely patient. They always were able to answer and demonstrate any questions we had. We also got training after each session, which was practiced at home. Hudson looks forward to working with us on his training, almost as much as he does going into the facility for his lessons!
We’ve just finished the 5 private sessions and there is a very noticeable improvement in Hudson’s behavior.
We’re excited to begin the group lessons soon. It will be very interesting to see if he can hold it together with other dogs and people in the same room. There will be a lot to distract him from the tasks at hand. But very important to further his training.

This place is where you want to bring your dog. These people love their jobs and are very good at what they do, from Alexa doing the evaluation, to all of the trainers; Chloe, Cassandra, Dominic, and Sean. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and most of all, helpful with all concerns and questions. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit, it was well worth the money.

Rick M.

Omg!!! Sit Means Sit exceeded my expectations on what they could accomplish with our crazy Rocky. It was so amazing to see each week the progress he made. This is such an excellent program. After each session they took the time to review and explain what Rocky had learned and had us practice with them. It was such a positive environment. It is apparent how much they love dogs and enjoy their job. Rocky really enjoyed going to training each week. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit!!!!! Special thank you to Rocky’s very patient trainers: Morgan, Karleigh, Dom, Sean, and Chloe. Thank you! Thank you!

Mimi P.

I am not sure there are enough great words to say! Sit Means Sit is excellent, professional, and caring dog training. My 7 month old puppy just graduated today. He knows all commands including greeting people without jumping and how to heel! He is happy (I think happier now that he knows what is expected of him), playful and very well adjusted. Do not hesitate to sign your puppy/dog up for lessons.

Michele D.

Cassie, Chloe, Dom, and Karleigh were all godsends for the little Frenchie and former demon that is Reuben. Night and day difference in him over the 5 week program. And so happy to have signed up! And so happy with the team and all the progress made!

Kait W.

Great owner, great staff- our trainers Karleigh, Dominic & Morgan are 11/10, each offering different insights and suggestions at the post training session. Our pup loved going there and will be very excited for the future group classes; huge difference from day one, highly recommend!

Kelly

I really am happy with the services that I had received throughout kibas training he has come miles from where he had started! His trainers consisted of Dom, Sean, Karleigh, Chloe, and Morgan they all have been great and great helps to help our kiba be the best him that we knew he could be! Thank you sit means sit you truly have helped our lives in so many ways!

Taylor M.

Sit means sit was a great experience for us and our dog. The staff are very professional and the trainers are also professional, kind, thorough, and patient. Everyone was helpful throughout the process and took their time with all of us during this experience. Definitely glad we sought training for our dog as we see how much it has helped him already.

Stephanie Y.

Sit Means Sit 8-week training course did wonders for our dog, Harvey. He had a history of Anxiety with aggression, as well as an increase of anxiety behaviors after a family move. Harvey is now on the road to progress and now, it is easier to manage his anxiety behaviors.

Liz M.

What an amazing experience! Don’t wait any longer to start training. My 5 y/o poodle mix start training at Sit Means Sit Philadelphia this summer and immediately I saw a difference in his behavior. He was much more responsive to commands and has become almost non reactive to other pups on our walks. I can’t wait to start group training. Ps this place is affordable and has a finance option! Shout out to Dominic, Sean, Karleigh, Morgan, Casey you guys thank you for teaching my pup and keeping him safe and happy in your care!

Linda S.

Our dog came in as a new puppy and was able to heel and listen to all our commands at the end of the program. Great trainers and advice that works! A big thank you to Dom, Chloe, and Morgan! They were able to help us with anything we needed when it came to different scenarios.

Chris D.
Can’t say enough great things about SMS! All staff was extremely professional and friendly. Super clean facilities and felt comfortable leaving my dog with them. Noticed a huge shift in my dog’s behavior even after his first lesson. So grateful we signed up!
Rebecca A.

We had brought our puppy Rosie in for training and she and we had a wonderful experience working with the staff there. All were so knowledgeable starting with Salvatore, Dominick and Cassie. We will be at Group training to continue our training not only for Rosie but for us as well. Persistent pays off. Thank you Sit Means Sit.

Trish F.

My experience at Sit Means Sit was awesome. From the initial free consultation with Salvatore, to follow-up scheduling with Stephanie on the phone they put my mind at ease that I had found the right training for my dog. I have a 4 y/o Pressa Canario named Nina. She is a large dog, over 100lbs. and was very reactive to other dogs. They are very professional and thorough during the process so that you know your dog is being treated with the utmost care while they are there. She was trained individually by Karleigh, Cassandra and Chloe who are all dog owners themselves and you can tell really love animals. When I picked her up in the afternoon she was always happy and ready to review what she learned that day. Most importantly, I saw immediate improvement in her behavior after the first lesson. She improved each week and is on her way to being a well trained dog that can be around other dogs and be calm and obedient. I would highly recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone looking for dog training services.

“Our little Maxie was so mouthy and pulled us everywhere. It was so hard for us until she started Sit Means Sit. Their program is amazing. After a few sessions, we already saw a huge difference in Maxie’s behavior. The group lessons are awesome too because they help us learn and be more comfortable with training. The staff is super friendly and really willing to teach your dog. They really care about the outcome which is so important.”

We were referred to Sit means Sit from friends that took their two pit bulls there and had amazing results. We decided to give it a try with our Belgian Malinois puppy and loved it! We started with the puppy classes until he was old enough to do the obedience training. Sal walks you through every step of the process and answers any questions you have! There are multiple package choices depending on what your goals are for you and your dog which I liked & All of the trainers are absolutely amazing and so patient with not only working with the dogs but working with you as well. Thank you Sean, Alexa, Chloe, Karleigh, Cassie, Dom & Morgan!! If you’re looking for dog training this is your place.

My Dog Cosmo, a 17 month old black lab weighing in at 118 lbs has come a long way at Sit means Sit. He used to be such a reactive dog. He has pulled me and knocked me down a few times. Now he pays attention to ME and not what’s around him. I’ve had different trainers throughout his sessions and I was upset at first that I didn’t have the same trainer. Let me tell you, each one is fantastic! From Domenic, to Chloe, Karleigh, and Sean. Each one is so caring, kind, and all so professional. Neighbors and his Bather have notice a difference in Cosmo’s behavior. This week was the first time that his bather said he was able to cut his nails without a fuss! He asked what I was doing at home and to continue doing it. I would highly recommend Sit means Sit. They are making my and my family’s life so much easier. The only mistake I have made was not starting sooner. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

My 4.5 month miniature dachshund Howie just recently completed his day train program and graduated into group classes! I am beyond impressed with how far Howie has come from being trained at this facility. Howie started at 16 weeks and has showed great behavior and attention differences since starting at sit means sit! Each trainer is kind and incredibly helpful. With Howie being my first dog ever I had many questions and they never failed to answer any question I had. Howie loves every trainer and gets so excited to see them . I am so glad that I found sit means sit and started him at a young age because he will be a great obedient companion for life 🙂 thank you sit means sit!

My dog Luna was generally a good dog, but she was always easily distracted when she spotted other dogs and she would constantly pull towards them and bark with excitement. She would never focus back on me, and I thought it would be impossible for her to ever be off leash. I came in for an orientation about a month ago and I met with Alexa to go over options that would best suit my dog. At first I was a bit uneasy with their training method, but Alexa eased my concerns. We went with 5 classes and by the end of the second one there was a massive improvement with Luna’s focusing. Every trainer that gave me guidance after class was extremely knowledgeable and was able to tailor things to suit Luna better. Now whenever she spots a dog she rarely pays attention to it and heels to me when I call her. By the time the last class came, I was able to comfortably walk Luna off-leash; she generally stays close by to me, always comes back to me when I call her if she strays too far, and doesn’t try to run up to other dogs. She’s still a little rough around the edges but I love how they offer group classes to really hone in the skills she learned while in class. I would 100% this to anyone who needs it and if I happen to get another dog I would definitely return.

5 stars isn’t enough for the Sit Means Sit Philly team! We brought Jax, our two year old cattle dog mix to SMS for help with reactivity to people and dogs. I could barely get Jax in the door on the first day of training and watched him get more and more excited to be there each week. Not only did Jax love the trainers, but we did too! So kind, helpful and down to earth. After working with Cassie week 1, we immediately noticed a difference and even more so after week 2 with Dom. The last 3 weeks were when things really started to come together for Jax and where he made the most progress and we owe it all to the amazing Chloe! Everyone here was fantastic but Chloe made our experience that much better. She made us feel so comfortable while learning all of the new techniques to train. We have gained so much confidence to deal with our situation. We can’t wait to join group classes soon and be back with the SMS team!

Sit Means Sit has transformed our foster dog. Mikey, our foster, is a survivor of abuse and neglect- even lost a portion of his leg because of the severity of his situation. The trainers at Sit Means Sit developed customized goals for Mikey, worked individually with him to achieve those goals, and taught us how to work with Mikey so that he could succeed! Trainers Sean and Dominic were compassionate and knowledgable. They came up with interesting strategies to help Mikey overcome his fears and challenges. Group classes give us a place to practice and strengthen his training. Thanks to Sit Means Sit, Mikey has made wonderful progress toward healing and better behavior so that he can be ready to find his forever home.

Karen R.

Sit Means Sit has been invaluable in our dog training experience. My boyfriend and I sought out their services for our energetic and very stubborn puppy. Although we’d watched many training videos and read training resources, we hadn’t seen much improvement with our pup. However, after starting testing with sit means sit, the change was drastic. Our puppy now can sustain attention, resist urges, respect boundaries, and has much less separation anxiety and overall crazy energy. Although not done our journey yet(group classes still to come), a big thank you to Morgan, Chloe, and Dom who provide much needed support and encouragement in this process. They made us feel empowered and in control, and answered every silly question we had. Thank you to all who have helped us along the way. Much appreciation from Zeus and family!

Britt S.

Sit Means Sit is truly an awesome experience. From the free evaluation all the way through the training program every step was handled with such professionalism and friendliness. I sent both my dogs – one did the gold package and the other the platinum because she needed more work. It was well worth every dollar spent. By the second day they were excited to be dropped off! While every trainer has been amazing and thorough, Cassie definitely stood out as my one dogs favorite. Everyone was also really great at helping me figure out the best ways to incorporate the training into my lifestyle and home environment. Really top notch experience that I am really thankful for. Champ and Ruby were already my little loves but now they are my little loves that actually listen and follow commands while simultaneously enjoying life!

For anyone looking into training for your pup, Sit Means Sit is the best place and we Highly recommend it. They are so loving, dedicated, and can work with/train any dog. Words cannot begin to describe how grateful we are for Sit Means Sit Philadelphia.

We took our 6 month old female chocolate lab for an evaluation with Alexa and she made us feel so welcomed. She was so patient with our pup Violet, as at that time she was quite the attention barker. Alexa was so reassuring and encouraging; we knew Sit Means Sit was going to be perfect for our pup.

Fast forward to our weekly trainings with these four amazing trainers: Sean, Chloe, Karleigh, and Morgan. Each individual trainer worked So extremely hard with Violet. Violet is a very smart girl, but an extremely stubborn pup. Each trainer showed the utmost patience and dedication to our sweet but stubborn little girl. With the e-collar, we were very quickly able to stop the incessant attention barking, which was one of our biggest problems. Violet really struggled with healing and looking at both us and the trainers without checking out constantly. Each week she would hold her attention and healing a little longer, but she kept being very stubborn with this command. By the 5th week of training Violet finally wasn’t checking out as much and would hold her attention a lot longer. This was a HUGE accomplishment! She picked up sitting, place, come, and recall beautifully. Our trainers also took extra time to help work with Violet getting in and out of our car, as she was extremely terrified of the car. Now Violet has no problem jumping in and out of the car. They went above and beyond working with Violet!

Before our training with Sit Means Sit we were just at our wits end. No matter how many videos we watched or changed up the training techniques, Violet was almost impossible to handle and would rarely listen. Sit Means Sit put in all the hard work, training her all day, and then during our private lessons they gave us the necessary tools to help both Violet and us to succeed. They created the best and healthiest training environment. We are forever grateful for all the hard work, love, and dedication that Sean, Karleigh, Morgan, and Chloe put into training our Violet. Words cannot begin to thank each one of you enough. Violet is a completely different dog, in the best way possible, today than when she first visited Sit Means Sit. We thank you all so much and cannot wait to continue with group training classes. God bless you all!

I did a lot of research on dog trainers in the area and ultimately choose SMS because of the amount of time my dog spends 1v1 with a trainer and the group classes offered after his initial sessions. Five weeks ago my dog was pulling me down the street on leash and I would often come home upset and overwhelmed. Since my dog has started training his leash skills have improved significantly, he actually listens to me outside now, and walks are no longer stressful. Karleigh was so helpful and was able to set a good foundation at training so we could be successful practicing at home. We’re looking forward to continue his training in group sessions!

Stephanie G.

The staff at sit means sit dog training are truly incredible. Alexa, Cassie, and Dominic specifically were so knowledgeable and attentive, I really enjoyed working with them. Every time my dog left their place I swear he learned so much and it was so exciting to see his progress.

Before this program walks were stressful with my 70 lb golden retriever. He was also very anxious in new environments and with certain situations. I now get to enjoy walks with my dog without him pulling me in every direction. I have also seen his confidence grow, his anxiety improve and I have the necessary tools to work with these issues. This program is truly a rewarding process for both you and your pup. I’m excited to see what the future holds for Dundee and know our bond and his success will only go up from here.!!

Yes – The money is worth it. It is an investment to build confidence in you and your dog. In addition, it actually WORKS. Don’t waste your time looking for other trainers, SMS is where you want to be.

I have a 75 lbs Cane Corso/Poodle mix who was very leash reactive and very scared and anxious. He was terrified of absolutely everything. As soon as we stepped out of the house he would be very anxious and scared to the point that he couldn’t listen to me or wouldnt take treats. Now he comes up to people and he takes treats and listens to commands outside. They are incredible. I am in shock with how much progress my dog made. He does not pull on his leash on walks anymore, he listens to commands and is very well behaved and not scared. Alexa and Cassie worked a lot with him and they were beyond incredible. They answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with them. They really care about your dog and treat him or her like their own. I had taken my dog to other trainers and nothing was working. If you are looking for a solution specially for a reactive or aggressive dog go to them. I am beyond thankful I found them. It is a little expensive but SOO worth it, you’ll see results in no time. We did the 5 training sessions program and I was seeing results after the first session. I have attached a video of how my dog is walking with a leash and going past distractions without a problem. I am absolutely in shock and could keep going on and on about how good they are. My dog is my everything and I treat him like a baby but they were the best people to trust my dog to! Big thanks to everyone at Sit Means Sit Philadelphia location.

Veronica A.
We noticed an immediate difference after taking our dog Cooper to Sit Means Sit. He was able to do basic commands & the leash pulling immediately lessened. The trainers make you feel comfortable and at ease, and are more than willing to sit down with you and answer all of your questions (and I had soo many!). Their group class scheduling is also simple to use!
Maria A.

My dog, willow, was a very easily overstimulated dog. If I had company at the house, willow would jump on whoever it was, and be completely crazy, until the company left. Being a large dog, this was not only annoying, but painful. After only a week of training, willow now is very controlled with any of my company, and is much more respectful of boundaries. I am so glad I took her to Sit Means Sit. All of her trainers were wonderful! I went from having a pretty crazy dog, to a dog that gets complements of being so good on walks!

Marlee K.

I would highly recommend sit means sit if you pup is anything like mine. He has a lot of anxiety around new people and places and shows it with aggression. But he’s come a long way and is more comfortable in those situations now thanks to everyone at sit means sit. Seriously thanks to everyone there there all super friendly and has helped us so much.

Mike K.

Took my pup Tucker to Sit Means Sit Philly after he started showing aggression while on a lease. He’s a very friendly and sweet dog he just acts out when he’s on the lease and nothing me or my girlfriend did seemed to help. It was creating a hard experience to walk him anywhere and give a lot of anxiety to doing anything with him outside. We went to Sit Means Sit Philly and Jason completed turned our pup around. With hard work and a lot of practice I now have a pup that I feel comfortable with outside and feel that I am in control or any situation. I can’t think them enough in the month and a half we have been going it was really started to show in him the improvement that he has been working on and I feel much more confident going forward that I have a dog who I can be with outside and feel safe.

I was a little hesitant at first about the collar and the price, but it is absolutely worth it. After just 3 sessions, my dog and I have such a stronger bond and she is happier than ever (and so much better behaved). The trainers are all very helpful and she’s happy to see them.

My Pitbull is very leash reactive. We tried other trainers, but she regressed and even turned her agitation on to the trainer due to the methods. Although Tina has a long ways to go, she has shows significant signs of improvement, and she loves the entire staff! Cassie, Alexa, Jason, and Sal have all helped answer my millions of questions very patiently! I feel comfortable leaving her there knowing that they will treat her as if she was one of their own pets. Thank you for all of your help guys! Looking forward to continuing to bring Tina and starting group!

Choosing a trainer can be such a difficult decision. SMS was recommended by a trusted friend who had a good experience taking her dog there. I was nervous to leave my dog anywhere, but after a consult I felt much more comfortable. All the trainers are very friendly and you can tell that none of the dogs look scared or overly anxious at the facility. Ollie was never trained properly and despite only being 12 pounds, he managed to yank on my arm and generally make walks unpleasant. After just one day of training with SMS, he wasn’t pulling anymore. After the full 5 lessons, he can even sit calmly next to me when someone comes to the door downstairs or focus on me when other dogs are barking at him – he was highly reactive in both situations in the past. Ollie is much more focused on what I’m telling him now and I feel like we have a tool that I can use to continue to teach him good manners. No more typical misbehaving small dog!

Great dog training facility and service. The staff are knowledgeable, personable, and patient (with furry friends and owners alike). They provide hands on training with great tips and clearly have a lot of experience and success with all kinds of dogs.

Maui came to Sit Means Sit as a hyper puppy that loved to jump on people. He also pulled on the leash. As a golden puppy he was already nearing 70lbs which was a lot of weight to have yank on your arm from the leash. He was and still is a handful but with continued training and reinforcement since he’s graduated from Sit Means Sit, his energy level can be channeled to practicing commands. He doesn’t pull on the leash anymore. We’re getting to no leash training in a controlled environment and slowly graduating to simply commands while taking a walk. I believe some of it is puppy energy but he has progressed more with this program than another online program we used before. Our ultimate goal is to have an off leash companion and try for a good citizen certificate. As a nurse, we’d love to have Maui as a therapy dog for hospital patients and prior to this it just didn’t seem possible. While it still may take time, I think Maui will reach his goals as well as ours for him. Thanks SMS Philly!

We were so unbelievably thrilled with you folks. It worried us because the reviews were TOO good but believe me when I say it’s worth every penny and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We still go to group classes and Nugget can’t wait to walk in the door every time. Thank you guys so much. We thought nothing would change our best friend. Thanks so much!

I usually never give reviews but I couldn’t be happier with the results I’ve gotten from taking my dog to SMS. I was at my breaking point with my now 5 month old golden retriever puppy, he was a nightmare on walks, would constantly bite my kids when playing, jump on everyone he seen etc etc to the point where I was thinking I was going to be forced to rehome him. I decided to do a free consultation with SMS & after sitting with Jason & seeing how well behaved all the other dogs were and how amazingly trained they were I was sold! My dogs trainer Cassandra was amazinggg! Now I can now peacefully go on walks with my dog without him pulling me around, he is no longer using my kids as chew toys & much more. I couldn’t thank or recommend the SMS team enough for all the hard work, definitely worth every penny!

I would recommend SMS to anyone! When I adopted my dog, I knew it would be a big risk based off of the way he was described. I went through with the adoption anyway, because I saw his potential. The trainers at SMS helped his potential become a reality. They treated him so well, were hands on, and he absolutely loved going there! I couldn’t be any happier with the progress my dog has made and continues to make!

Vanessa P.

The team at Sit Means Sit took the time to be sure our dog was in a comfortable and safe setting. Tux had a lot of anxiety around other dogs and people outside of our household. The SMS folks helped him overcome a lot of this. The team was always kind to Tux and here to answer any questions or concerns I had. Looking forward to group classes. Thanks

These trainers are amazing! My pup Brock has come lightyears in his obedience over the last few weeks. Cassie has been an awesome trainer for our pup and he loves going back to see her. I can tell all the trainers had a genuine love for every pupper that came in which put our minds at ease when dropping Brock off. Overall, Well worth every penny, you will not regret utilizing SMS expertise in training and overall professionalism.

After a year of unsuccessful investment in variety of trainers, I finally found the right training for my German Shepherd! I was extremely skeptical about e-collar training but the entire SMS Philadelphia team with their extremely patient and professional approach answered all my questions. I have seen a significant improvement in my dogs reactivity to other dogs and in my comfort and confidence in handling her. Alexa is an amazing trainer- she is knowledgeable and helps finds the right balance in disciplining and positive reinforcement. Shoutout to the entries SMS Philadelphia team for making Pepper feel confident & comfortable. Look forward to continuing this journey with you!

Reena G.

My bulldog Ranger has become some much better and well behaved since coming to sit means sit . Can’t wait to get him in group class.

We brought my reactive German Shepherd to work on obedience and her reactivity. While her reactivity is not “cured”, it is severely diminished. We are constantly working on this with her and have seen more improvement in the 3 weeks of going to one on one training at Sit Means Sit. Today was our evaluation for group classes. The trainer brought in another dog and my girl, who usually lunges, barks, and raises hackles, looked at the dog than back at me. She went right up to the trainer to greet, tail wagging. These are just two of the major improvements we have seen. She is excited to put her collar on in the morning and work on commands. She heels almost perfectly and walks are no longer a struggle. I have also noticed a closer bond with my dog. She follows me everywhere and usually in a heel with no command given. Would recommend this training class to anyone and everyone. We still have work to do, but Sit Means Sit has given me not only the confidence to do it, but the skills required to give my girl her confidence as well.

My husband and I brought our 2 1/2 year old pitbull Tyson to Sit Means Sit. Tyson has the greatest personality and loves all dogs and people but his leash pulling and excited jumping have always been an issue. When we went in to our consultation with Ray, I was embarrassed how misbehaved Tyson was being with pulling and general excitement that he would not sit still for one second. Ray assured us that after training, we would see totally different behavior from Tyson. After 3 full days of training and doing our homework with Tyson, all I can say is ………. WOW!!!!!! We not only have the most loving dog in the world, now he actually LISTENS to commands and can walk on a leash without dragging us. We now enjoy our walks with him and no longer have anxiety when we have company because he doesn’t jump or react like he used to from excitement. The team at Sit Means Sit is amazing and extremely knowledgeable. We honestly cannot thank them enough for how they worked with Tyson. We would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

I rescued a Staffordshire Terrier with minimal dog and human socialization skills, and walking her was always a challenge. I was doing my best to help her obtain these skills but hit a point where we needed professional help. I signed Mary Gregory up at Sit Means Sit and we have been successfully working with Dom on skills for our walks (pulling, sit command, hold attention when other dogs approach). Dom has been outstanding, he is a great teacher, very patient not only with Mary Gregory, but also with me. She has come a long way in a short time, and we look forward to with working with Dom and the rest of the team at Sit means Sit.

Andrew S.

Excellent trainers who were able to get my puppy to listen on command after just one session. I highly recommend Sit means Sit.

*VERY HONEST REVIEW ALERT* I feel like I owe Sit Means Sit a million thank yous and a million gifts. I’m honestly so blessed to have been able to work with them. TWO… yes… TWO months ago, I hit a wall with my rescue Pitbull mix. I was in tears after every walk and I could never have anyone over. I stopped hiking and going to parks. I was just so embarrassed. I threw money at other dog trainers like Philly Unleashed. All though they were super nice and helpful. It just wasn’t enough for my dog, Dante. He needed more structure and time. My 40 hour week is pretty intense climbing up the corporate ladder so it’s hard for me to go outside 30 mins a day, three times a day, 15 mins three times a day in my house training, dog parks morning and night, and even more time on the weekends. And all this time dedicated doesn’t even guarantee good results until months and months away. It’s doable but very hard and I was paying for expensive tips and tricks that I could get out of a YouTube video. At sit means sit, they will work with your dog for an entire day over a month. I just had to drop my dog off at 8-8:30am for one day a week. I then came back at 6pm and did an hour session to follow up on what he learned. I needed the right tools though when walking out the door and working with my dog until the next drop off day. I bought the place mat and eventually I bought a muzzle (we are still working on muzzle training). They use e-collars so it was nice to have that tool as well. Don’t get me wrong! I was hesitant to use an e-collar. There’s so much bad stigma to it BUT it’s not as scary as people think AND you have to give rewards like treats and pets and Dante LOVES hugs and kisses. It’s just a helpful tool and they teach you how to be a better dog parent. We all know the saying – a dog is only as good as their pet parent. WE as dog owners need to be trained as well. With ALL of these tools and by the work of the trainers on those days, Dante was cleared for group classes. In these classes you are going and going for an hour straight working around dogs and the trainers. The benefit is tremendous! Lastly, I give so much love, kudos, and thanks to Alexa and Cassie. These two meant the WORLD to Dante. They (as well as all trainers) really listen to your concerns about your dog but also your worries and overall anxiety you have had before training or during the whole process. I’m so confident to now move across the country with Dante and start group classes out there. Even though it’s a pretty penny to spend up front… you get LIFETIME yes LIFETIME group classes. I have already recommended my ENTIRE office on this side of this coast to go and one of my friends who has also only tried basic training. If I haven’t convinced you yet, go see for yourself! Consultations are FREE. So thank you Philly Sit Means Sit! You guys will furever be in our hearts ♥️
Caitlyn R.

We brought Tys to sit means sit based off the reviews and they did not let us down! They listen to your needs and do thier best to address them and take their time with you. I highly recommend Sit means Sit to everyone human and canine…………

This was the best decision we could have made for our dog. We’ve raised several golden retrievers over the years but our current dog is by far the most stubborn. He’s not quite a year old and is also on the large side for goldens. Energy, stubbornness and size made him very difficult to control. With this training he has really turned around. Getting his attention was the key. He is smart, learned quickly and our trainer Dominic was fantastic. We were amazed how much our dog learned in each session. Each week Dominic asked what was working, not working, and where we needed more help. He gave us great guidance and very useful tips. Our dog is much more mindful with or without using the collar. Great to know we can always go back for follow ups if needed. Definitely well worth it! Thanks Dominic and all the folks at Sit Means Sit!!!

Kathryn C.

Sit means sit dog training is the absolute best! They work with you and your dog to be the best that you both can be. I highly recommend going here for any type of dog training! Any questions you may have they have all the answers too. All of the trainers make you feel so welcome and love your animal just as much as you do. My puppy Luna loved to go to training classes and now will be in group classes. I can’t wait to get her started! Thank you so much to the trainers who take the time to understand your dog and how to help them be great!

Ashley B.
Choosing sit means sit was a great decision! The trainers were professional and personable as well, especially Alexa and Dominic. I felt comfortable and knew my dog was safe while being there. He has been going there for a few months now and the difference is incredible. We knew when we adopted our two year old dog he had some behavior issues especially around other dogs and nipping. When I picked him up after his first all day session I was blown away that he was sitting around other dogs and able to sit and look at me. He has made such great progress and I feel like the trainers enjoy seeing them succeed too. We look forward to taking him to the group classes! I would recommend SMS to family and friends in a heartbeat and so glad I chose them to help our dog succeed! I am so thankful for them and helping my dog become more confident.
Britnee P.

My dog had such low confidence and trouble on the leash. Honestly I could not thank SMS enough. I would have never imagined my dog walking nicely on the leash but a month later and he has improved significantly. They really listen to your trouble areas and show you what to work on. It’s been a learning experience for me but also bonding experience for my dog and I. If you’re looking for training I highly recommend scheduling a consultation and seeing if this is a fit for you because the whole staff has been amazing and their service is excellent.

I don’t have enough words to say how thankful I am that I found Sit Means Sit and the help they have given to me and my dog. Prior to beginning training I was feeling completely lost with how to handle my anxious and fearful boy. The entire Sit Means Sit team has provided so many tools and support and I can finally say we are making progress. So happy to have found a training method that really is making a difference in our lives. Thank you!!!

Alexandra P.

The trainers at Sit Means Sit are professional and have a great deal of expertise. Their highly trained dogs are a great example of what regular owners can work towards through their training. We’ve only been working with our 18 month old mixed breed for a few weeks, but have found good success so far. We’re looking forward to continuing with group classes and at home work.

Nancy A.

Sit Means Sit has been great thus far –Scout was having a few issues and after first day at Sit Means Sit he was a changed Pup. Tonight is our first group class –very excited 🙂

Ronald B.

I can’t recommend these guys enough. Salvatore, Alexa and the whole crew are just absolutely awesome. Our dog Peach is a brand new dog when it comes to commands and walks and everything. It’s completely worth every penny and I’d be more than happy to vouch for them to anybody who is unsure.

Alex S.
Sit Means Sit took our high energy, wild puppy to being an obedient-but still playful baby girl. The consultation meeting, with Sal, was extremely informative and the promises made were kept. After the first training session with Dominic, we were told Athena would be an off leash dog in two months. The strides she has taken in just one month was absolutely amazing! The last three sessions were with Alexis, she was so helpful, patient and really catered to what Athena and our family need.
Yes, it’s pricey- but the quality you get and the lifetime sessions are sooo worth it! We are so proud of our baby girl, Athena! And looking forward to group lessons❤️
Victoria L.

All my concerns with my puppy were met with one on one support! I feel confident that my puppy will continue to progress with the training and techniques Sal and his team gave me.

Brooke H.
We brought our Nala in with extreme leash pulling problems. The staff was very helpful, explained why it was happening and the steps to correct it. She learned general obedience as well. The staff was extremely helpful and patient with our Nala! I would definitely recommend to all doggy parents out there!
Rachel B.

The training methods have certainly helped our dog with behaviors that we wanted to see improve better walking on leash no pulling, less distracted and more responsive to commands, very happy with outcome so far.

Brian G.

Salvatore is awesome, I would highly recommend training with Sit Means Sit!

Ray M.

Whether at the facility or in home, the whole team has been great helping us learn how to train our pup. Looking forward to trying out the group classes.

Great program! Really helped our high energy dog

I am so happy I made the decision to bring my dog here. Yes, it was an investment…but if you divide the cost over the lifetime of the dog, it is very reasonable. I have (had!) a leash reactive dog. He lunged at every animal…walks and hikes were nearly impossible with him. I have taken him to 3 other local “group obedience classes” that just didn’t work (The continuous treat style was impractical; and the “positive-behavior-reinforcement-only approach was completely ineffective). I have always had dogs and felt I knew what I was doing, but I just couldn’t get my dog under control with the reactivity. With SMS, in just 2 months, I now have a dog that can walk calmly past another dog and doesn’t lunge after every squirrel. SMS philosophy and style makes sense. Thank you to the training team at SMS! Thank for training me too! :).

Alyssa J.

Salvatore and his team at Sit Means Sit (SMS) Dog Training are instrumental in our family’s life. They helped us ensure our dog, Remi, got off on the right paw and continue to work with us as needed. Several months ago, we did a consultation with Sal and were so impressed by his dog, Stella’s demo. We immmediately knew SMS was who we wanted to partner with for our dog. We started puppy lessons to work on Remi’s confidence as she was a bit timid with getting her during the pandemic. Remi did the three day training program, and is great at heel, sit, place, recall, etc. We are so pleased about Remi’s demeanor with us and other creatures. Many thanks to Salvatore, Alexa, and Dominic at Sit Means Sit Dog Training Philadelphia!

Bianca D.

Benji and Pip have completed their 3 days of private training and are doing really well. They are walking very nicely, and keeping to a heel. We are managing to pass other dogs without the usual lunging and tugging, and hopefully I will have them doing this off leash soon. Also have a very good understanding of place, and am continuing to lengthen their time in place. This is great, since it is the only way I have been able to stop them barking at every single sound outside the house. The dogs obviously have both enjoyed the training and the trainers. Thanks Sit Means Sit!!

Elizabeth N.

My husband and I adopted from ACCT fully aware that we would be taking on some behavioral issues that would need working on. We were not prepared for how disengaged, hyper, and difficult our dog would be a week into her adoption. After both of us were bit by her (broken skin and bruising) and attacking a neighborhood dog, we came to the conclusion that we would have to return her to ACCT. This would have been her third time being returned, and we knew that taking her back would have sealed her fate 🙁 . As a last ditch effort, we decided to give Sit Means Sit a try and we are all so thankful we did. We went for a consultation to see if there was any hope for our dog. They made us feel like we could work through her behavioral issues and that she wasn’t a lost cause. After just two full training days and three weeks of my husband and me using the lessons they taught us, we have a completely different relationship with our dog. If you had told us a month ago that she would simply acknowledge us on command, we wouldn’t have believed it. Not only does she focus on us, she runs through all of her commands (just about) flawlessly. Sal, Dom, and Alexa are WONDERFUL. They saved us and our dog and we are forever thankful for their work. We cannot recommend Sit Means Sit enough. Please, if you are feeling like you (and your pooch!) are at the end of your rope, call these guys! They are miracle workers!

“We are so pleased with our experience with Sit Means Sit. Sal and Maura have been solid supports with all of our questions and have provided as much scheduling flexibility as possible with our busy, ever-changing schedules. After our first home training session, we saw an immediate decrease in our dog’s fear and finally had some tools that we could practice and use to manage a couple of our dog’s difficult behaviors. Training with Sit Means Sit has also helped us establish a more positive relationship with our dog. We have always loved her, and now she trusts us enough to accept our love, too. We are so grateful.”

Tera G.

“Everyone there was friendly and knowledgeable on how to train our dog Diego and us. They made it simple enough that our 10-year-old was able to control Diego when needed on the first day. The best thing about Sit Means Sit is that our family can enjoy Diego all the time.”

Jay O.

“My dog is very high anxiety, and with only five days of training, he follows commands, doesn’t pull when on his leash, and has come out of training more relaxed and keeps amazing me more and more with each day since the training. Don’t hesitate to have the Sit Means Sit team help you with any of your dog’s needs, it has been almost night and day with my dog since training and only getting better. Thank You”

Chris S.

“I thought my pup was a lost cause when it came to her leash aggression. After spending only one day with Sit Means Sit trainers, I was able to see a huge difference when taking her on walks. I was shocked at how quickly my little girl was able to learn with the proper tools & trainers. We now love going to group class and working on all our new skills with new doggy friends. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone who is looking for trainers that will not only help your furry friend but also care so much about how they progress.”

Lauren S.

“My dog went for a week board & train to work on his manners, leash skills, and overall excitability. When I first called to find out information, right away, I got a good vibe from Sal. All of the staff there are very friendly and accommodating. When I received a video, I couldn’t believe it was my dog; he was doing so well! On pick up day, there is also an hour session to go over everything- there is a lot!-however since I know have a lifetime “membership” can go back for individual training, group training, etc. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit Philadelphia.”

Kolby M.

“Sal and crew do an amazing job. Ellie (my dog) had some behavioral issues, and I saw huge improvements after even spending one day with Sal. As with anything, you need to be dedicated to improving your dog on your own time as well, but Sit Means Sit does a tremendous job in helping to improve a dog’s attitude. I was very impressed with their team and their dedication to seeing you succeed. A+ job.”

Colin C.

“Today was our last of 3 days, daycare training, and I can’t speak highly enough of Dominic, Sav, and the rest of the staff at Sit Means Sit. We have a 13-month-old Cocker Spaniel and a 10-month-old Labradoodle who were both out of control – aggression, leash pulling, jumping, not listening, and constantly under our feet, to name a few issues. I feel like I have two different dogs now; life is much less stressful both around the house as well as being out for walks. I look forward to our home visits as well as group training to help further their training. This was money well spent.”

Glenda M.

“Salvatore and his team did an excellent job with my dog Archer! At 3 years old, Archer was a terrible leash-tugger, constantly weaving with the leash. Salvatore worked with Archer for three lessons over three weeks and Archer had tremendous improvement! If you put in the work that the trainers give you then the dog will show the results you want.”

Nekkra

We took our 5 month old mini Bernedoodle to Sit Means Sit and couldn’t be more pleased. Although our puppy was relatively calm, she did love to counter surf for food/water, jump with joy to meet everyone she passed, and needed to be reigned in to follow basic commands. After working with Sal at home, and at their Conshohocken location, we can confidently take her out, and have friends and family (including kids) in our home knowing that the “puppy” behavior has subsided. It was incredible what she learned in such a short time, and the support provided to help us during the process at home, and to continue tweaking her behavior set us up for success. We highly recommend Sit Means Sit, and we are confident that you will be thrilled with your results.

Maile S.

“Sit Means Sit is a miracle worker. If it wasn’t for Sal and Dominic, I wouldn’t have been able to introduce my reactive Pitbull to any dogs for a long, long time. With their help, I have a better understanding on how to handle his leash pulling, dog reactivity, and general inattentiveness; He has even met other dogs and made some friends! They have helped turn my handful into a joy to deal with. THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

Maura B.

Salvatore was great! He was on time, patient and encouraging. My dog took to him right away. Brazzie listens to me now and does not show anxiety towards other animals.

Linda L.

Sal is an amazing trainer! I have a newborn and a crazy puppy so I knew I was going to need help. Once the baby came my puppy regressed to old habits such as nipping, refusing to go in his crate & pulling on his leash. One session with Sal and he came home a new pup! He now walks into his crate with no problem and has stoped nipping at our guest. We are able to go on enjoyable walks as a family with no pulling. My dog exhibits more confidence and I believe it’s solely due to his training. I highly recommend Sal from Sit Means Sit Philadelphia!

Lauren K.

Sal is a phenomenal trainer who is not only dedicated, but also incredibly passionate about his career. You can’t go wrong with him! Highly recommend!

Taylor L.

Haley Dog Training TestimonialSal is an exceptional dog trainer who is truly passionate about helping you and your pet! He goes above and beyond to make sure that you gain full control and focus from your four legged friend.

We are so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Sal and would never hesitate to call him again if we need further assistance. 11/10 recommend Sit Means Sit Philadelphia!

Haley T.

“Sal is amazing. In one session, our puppy was a different dog. Now he’s going to his crate, sitting, heeling…WOW!!! Our dog is more loving and attentive. Totally worth the time, energy, and investment.”

Kris.

“Sit Means Sit has changed my out of control lab, Zoey, into a well-behaved dog. She pulled on a leash so badly that I couldn’t even take her for walks. After only one week, she was heeling off leash and right by my side. It was amazing! Now I enjoy hikes, walks, and other outings with her. I truly believe that Sit Means Sit can train any dog.”

Lori N.

“The Sit Means Sit program enabled me to take my two dogs Gaea and Dayzee on mountain hikes without worrying about them chasing wildlife. It’s great to hike with my dogs and not worry about spooking the wildlife, thank you!”

Ryan G.

“I am so pleased and impressed with Sit Means Sit in general. My Aussie puppy did a three week board-and-train since my work schedule limited my ability to go to group classes. They were very understanding and did an excellent job of explaining every aspect of their training methods, their e-collar, and were very open to questions. I met with a number of different trainers and every single one was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. The difference in my puppy is incredible. She listens (the collar really helps), she doesn’t bite me as I walk by, and she doesn’t bark for attention. For the go-home lessons, the trainers I met with were very patient with me as I learned how to work with her, explained the e-collar and its use in detail, and gave me pointers on how to work with specific challenges I was having. Excellent service, very pleased with the results, money well spent. Sit Means Sit is my go-to for dog training because of their quality work and friendly staff.”

Marie B.

“We took our two pitbulls to Sit Means Sit for training. Sit Means Sit did a wonderful job training our dogs. Kileaux was always easily distracted and Nikita was a rambunctious puppy. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in teaching us how to work with our dogs on continued training.

It is hard to find companies that will work with pitbull puppies, let alone full grown 115+ lb pitbulls. However, Sit Means Sit never failed to make my dogs feel loved and welcomed – which was an added bonus to the amazing quality of training we received. I will absolutely be referring Sit Means Sit to friends and family!”

Shannon H.

“Sit Means Sit’s training program has seriously been one of the best investments I have ever made. I picked my dog, Biggie, up last week and the changes in her behavior and previous aggression have been unbelievable! She’s a better listener, less territorial, and just an all around better behaved and happier dog!

My dog has been able to get off of her very strong anti-anxiety medication and live a better life because of the trainers at Sit Means Sit. Her quality of life, as well as mine and that of my family’s is infinitely better and for that I will be forever grateful!

Thank you Sit Means Sit for changing Biggie’s life! She looks forward to more group training and I will recommend y’all to everyone I know!”
