After being pulled off my feet twice by my 85 pound dog, I realized my attempts to ‘train’ him were not working. I joined Sit Means Sit. Within minutes there was a significant improvement in his behavior. It is common knowledge the real training starts with the dog owner… not the dog. There are several dog training books and various dog training devices available. What makes Sit Means Sit effective is the quality of their instructors. Sit Means Sit uses individual instruction, group instruction and multiple approaches tailored to meet owner’s requirements necessary to correct the dog’s specific inappropriate behavior. Sit Means Sit definitely worked for me…and my dog.

We are so pleased that we found Sit Means Sit to train our labradoodle Ginger. We used a combination of one-on-one training in our home, group lessons and the individualized “boot camp”–all are fabulous. Toni Drugmand has been training dogs for many years and is a consummate professional. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit for all of your training needs.

I needed to find help for my “behaviorally challenged” mixed breed rescue dog. Sophie was aggressive, and I could barely handle her. During our private lessons in our home (they come free as part of the service) the professional trainer addressed issues we were having, like barking and growling when anyone came to the door, aggression towards people and animals, dragging me anytime I put a leash on her, etc. When we first started taking classes with Sit Means Sit, she wore a muzzle to ensure her safety and the safety of others. I will saw immediate progress in just one class. Attending the group classes helped teach us practical skills way beyond just sit, stay and come, and provided a safe environment to socialize my dog. The weekly lessons were well planned, and handouts were provided for a reference when we went home to practice. We were encouraged to ask questions; the trainers were patient and kind and able to teach anyone to be a confident dog handler! Whether you just want to teach your pet some basic obedience, or have a dog with problem behaviors, the fabulous staff at Sit Means Sit can handle it all. Thanks to the training we received, my dog Sophie progressed from lunging at people and having to wear a muzzle during class, to being trusted off leash and without a muzzle. this training WORKS! Don’t waste your time or money on pet store obedience classes. Take your pet to the professionals at Sit Means Sit!

Toni is top notch. As a fellow professional trainer, I am very careful about who I refer people to for dog training. Toni is one of the very few who I would readily refer clients to. She’s more than capable of handling any dog training issue. I must also say she is a super nice lady.
