One of our favorite ways to spend a summer day is by exploring with our dogs. Luckily, Portland has plenty of off-leash dog parks for you to do just that. When the weather is nice and your canine companion is sick of playing in the backyard, jump in the car and head over to one of these off-leash dog parks in Portland. Your dog is sure to have a blast!

Brentwood Park

One of our favorite spots in Portland is Brentwood Park. There’s something for everyone at Brentwood Park, including our four-legged companions. The park includes a fenced-in off-leash dog area, paved paths to stroll through, picnic tables, a playground, and a variety of sports fields. Bring the entire family for a day full of fun activities. The park is open from 5:00 AM until midnight and is located on SE 60th Avenue and Duke Street.

Gabriel Park

Another family favorite is Gabriel Park, located on SW 45th Avenue and Vermont Street. With a fenced-in off-leash dog area, picnic area, and even a skatepark, there’s plenty of adventure to be found at this massive 90-acre park. Picnic areas, play areas, and restrooms are all accessible, so everyone can appreciate all that the park has to offer. You can visit the park anytime between 5:00 am and midnight, so add it to your summer bucket list now!

Luuwit View Park

This summertime classic is the perfect spot to spend a hot Portland day. Your dog can enjoy the fenced-in off-leash dog area where they can socialize and sniff around freely. There are also picnic areas, a playground, a splash pad, a rock climbing wall, paths to explore, and a beautiful vista point. The park also includes accessible picnic areas, play areas, and restrooms. Check it out on NE 127th and Fremont!

Sacajawea Park

Get in touch with Oregon’s history by visiting Sacajawea Park! Sacajawea Park pays tribute to Sacajawea, the Native American woman who led Lewis and Clark through the west. The park includes a fenced off-leash dog area where your dog can make new furry friends. It also includes unpaved paths for you and your pup to stroll through together. The park is open from 5:00 AM to midnight and is located on NE 75th and Roselawn Street.

Delta Park

Delta Park is a whopping 86.79 acres of beautiful Oregon land. From 6:00 AM-10:00 PM, the park opens its gates to the public, and we highly recommend you pay a visit this summer. The park includes a fenced-in off-leash dog area for your doggo. There are also football fields, synthetic turf, and volleyball courts, among other recreational sports fields. Be sure to stop by N Denver Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard to spend some time at Delta Park!
