Aggressive
An aggressive dog can cause difficulties when trying to incorporate them into your daily life, and can create stress and strain for everyone in your household. Often these behaviors stem from factors like inadequate socialization, fear, stress, or negative past experiences. Working collaboratively, you and your trainer can address and resolve some of these behavioral…

Off-Leash

Reactive
A reactive dog overreacts to normal situations that other dogs would take in stride. They become overstimulated easily and may bark, lunge, and growl at something as simple as another dog or person walking on the other side of the street. Socialization with dogs, humans, and other animals is a great way to ensure a well-mannered and confident dog. I was born and raised in Frederick, Maryland, and spent 10 years in Sarasota before coming back home. I spent 18 years in the hospitality industry, where I learned patience, consistency, and how to work with people. I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs, and am passionate about helping create happy, well-behaved dogs and confident owners….
Angelica Flores-Adcock Owner & Operation Manager
I’ve spent my career helping families thrive, starting with supporting moms through postpartum, and now through dog training. I believe dogs should be part of the family, instead of a source of stress. Watching a fearful or reactive dog become a confident, well-behaved member of the family is incredibly rewarding. It’s what we do and…

See More ReviewsWe took our two pitbulls to Sit Means Sit for training. Sit Means Sit did a wonderful job training our dogs. Kileaux was always easily distracted and Nikita was a rambunctious puppy. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in teaching us how to work with our dogs on continued training.
It is hard to find companies that will work with pitbull puppies, let alone full grown 115+ lb pitbulls. However, Sit Means Sit never failed to make my dogs feel loved and welcomed – which was an added bonus to the amazing quality of training we received. I will absolutely be referring Sit Means Sit to friends and family!
The Sit Means Sit program enabled me to take my two dogs Gaea and Dayzee on mountain hikes without worrying about them chasing wildlife. It’s great to hike with my dogs and not worry about spooking the wildlife, thank you!
