We used them to get our pups recall and general training and can’t recommend them enough. Wonderful people and great program! We definitely recommend to everyone looking for their training needs.

My wife and I recently got a Shiba Inu puppy and were quickly humbled by his energy, charisma, and sass.

We live in the SGV, minutes away from the Sit Means Sit facility, so naturally we decided to do a consultation for training for our baby boy, Zaku.

The consultation was informative, friendly, and fun. Frank was the one who walked us through the process and what kind of training schedule would fit best with our sassy Shiba.

Once we decided to start training, our main trainer was Kyle and Zaku LOVES him. We love him too of course, because he gave us all the tools we needed to help Zaku be an upstanding doggy citizen.

We also had a couple of classes with Aaron and really love his energy and expertise as well. He is at many of the group classes and does a great job at facilitating a good time.

We (including Zaku) really love the puppy classes, private classes, and group classes! What’s so amazing about SMS SGV is that you can tell how much they truly care about the success of each and every dog!

I will always be grateful for the work that Sit Means Sit Glendora has provided to our community.

Sit Means sit helped Suki go from being a good dog to a GREAT dog! We used to have issues with keeping her attention while outside, but now she’s a off-leash girl. The weekly group classes and pack walks are very helpful for continuing her training around dogs who are at different stages in their training.

Before we came across Sit Means Sit, we consulted with multiple trainers and did two different trainings. One of the trainings was treat incentivized and the second used aggressive redirection which included hard pulling on the leash and even kicking them in the stomach. I saw an ad for Sit Means Sit and decided to do the free consult. Zeus was highly reactive out of fear. Going on walks was difficult and taking him somewhere other than the park was impossible. I have the scars on my body to prove it! Blake did the consult with us and was so warm and welcoming and didn’t shame Zeus or me for our difficulties. He gave us hope. I saw a great improvement even one session in. After a few months, Zeus was able to do the group trainings without a muzzle. Now, a year later, we’re at the Sit Means Sit appreciation event and Zeus came in second in the distraction game and 5th in the silent commands game, without a muzzle! Sit Means Sit has given me and Zeus the confidence, hope, and acceptance we needed. I am definitely renewing and I already recommend this training to anyone and everyone. Thank you Sit Means Sit!

My 23 month old Bulldog was beginning to be reactive when she was a puppy. She also was difficult to control on a leash. The clicker training i did with all of my previous dogs, was not effective. I enrolled her for training at Sit Means Sit. Now, she’s awesome on and off a leash. And she recently became certified as a therapy dog. Life is so nice with a well-mannered dog. I couldn’t have done any of this without SMS!

I took my dog (a mix of Belgium Shepard) who was pretty scared of people. After a few sessions she is way calmer and easier to walk. It really made a big difference and we also were taught how to keep training her. Also after the private sessions we are doing group sessions, which further helps and are pretty fun. We can only say good things of Sit Means Sit.

I’m not sure where to start on how much we love Sit Means Sit. Every. Single. Trainer. Is. Amazing!!!! Not only were they fabulous with our big family, but we are pretty sure our dog, Pepper, loves them more than she loves us. I cannot recommend these guys enough, they TRULY have a system that works (you have to do your part too!) thru are always available for questions, support. We kinda feel like they became quick family. Go here, you won’t regret it.

I want to say thank you Trent and all of the staff! My dog had trouble socializing again and with walking on a leash. He would lunge towards other dogs and bark uncontrollably. I felt so helpless trying to get his attention again and stop him from barking. He is now walking by my side, friendly with other dogs and people.

I can finally go on walks with my Labrador and be in public spaces. This program has been a game changer. I had tried other training programs that did not work for us. We have been recommending it to our friends.

I can’t recommend Trent enough. I rescued a 2 year old 6 pound Yorkie, Penny, who had only lived as a breeder dog. Penny wasn’t potty trained, had dog aggression, leash aggression and was just always bouncing off the walls. After two weeks with Trent and some private lessons, Penny is like a completely different dog. No more accidents in the house, I can take her out in public with dogs, it’s been a life saver! Trent cares about your dog, your progression and ensuring that you’re successful. His customer service is unparalleled and I feel like I made a commitment that has benefited both me and penny. I would recommend Trent 100 times over.

I have been taking my pit mix to Sit Means Sit for about 6 years. She was very dog aggressive and difficult to take on a walk. I was pretty desperate with I signed for the “one on one lessons” and was very happy to see the results! No surprise, a lot of it was training me! We have stayed with the group class because we enjoy the opportunity to socialize with other dogs (and their owners) and to learn new commands etc. I am now taking both of our dogs and they are always excited to go! Trent is amazing. He is very knowledgeable and is able to share that with those who attend the classes.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Sit Means Sit – San Gabriel Valley. We have a 7-month old, 2.75 pound Yorkie named Mimi. Trent Stephenson has done such an amazing job with her! His expertise, professionalism, and skills are only matched by his patience and obvious love for dogs. We enrolled Mimi in Trent’s 7-day board-and-train program and she learned SO much in that short week! She is a now a happy and very well behaved puppy. Highly recommended!

Sit Means Sit is absolutely the best dog training company there is. Other dog training methods don’t even come close. I know I’ve tried them all.

I trained my super high energy American Pit Bull Terrier with the Sit Means Sit system and I don’t even need a leash any more. I get compliments daily on how awesome and incredibly well behaved my dog is. Now I can take my dog with me almost everywhere I go. I know I couldn’t have done it without Sit Means Sit!
