Summer is officially in full swing, and that means we’re looking to spend as much time outside as we can. One of our favorite summertime activities in Seattle is watching movies outdoors, and this summer’s movie lineup is pretty spectacular. Grab your picnic basket, blanket, and your canine companion and head out to these dog-friendly movies in Seattle happening all summer long! With various locations and times, you’ll be able to catch plenty of outdoor movies this summer. Look for all of your favorites below!

Westlake Park

Located in Seattle, Westlake Park is the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy a flick with your doggo. Admission is free and activities start at 6:00 PM, while movies begin at dusk. Here are some of the great movies you can look forward to:

  • Friday, August 2 – Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Original)
  • Friday, August 9 – Jurassic Park
  • Friday, August 16 – Captain Marvel
  • Friday, August 23 – Incredibles 2

Freeway Park

Freeway Park’s summer film lineup is organized by the same group that organizes Westlake Park’s summer movie series, Center City Outdoor Cinema. As such, the same rules apply: dogs are welcome, admission is free, activities start at 6:00 PM, and movies begin at dusk. However, the movie lineup is different, so take a look below:

  • Friday, August 2 – Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse
  • Friday, August 9 – Best in Show
  • Friday, August 16 – Won’t You Be My Neighbor
  • Friday, August 23 – Crazy Rich Asians

Peddler Brewing Company

Located in Wallingford, Peddler Brewing Company has a cozy beer garden where their summer movie series takes place. Admission is free and movies begin at 8:30 PM, but we recommend getting there a little early to grab a spot and a beer! Here are the movies showing at Peddler Brewing Company this summer:

Skyway Outdoor Cinema

This outdoor cinema has plenty of room to set up your chair or blanket, but we recommend arriving early to grab dinner at the food trucks starting at 7 pm. Preshow starts at 8 pm and movies begin at 9. Admission is free and you’ll love the lineup of movies showing for the rest of the summer!

Bellevue Downtown Park

Come out to Bellevue Downtown Park to make some memories and enjoy a warm summer night with friends and family! Pre-show activities start at 7:30 PM and movies begin at dusk. Admission and popcorn are free, so don’t miss your chance to grab a movie at Bellevue Downtown Park this summer! Here’s the lineup:
