Private Training
Our private lessons will allow our dog trainers to work one on one with you and your dog. You will be assigned a dog trainer who will look at some of the specific problems that your dog or puppy may be experiencing to ensure that they are well-behaved and ready to go. We can work with puppy raising, certified service dogs, and more to make life easier.

Obedience only dogs is an important part of having a dog or puppy who is going to do well in your home. We encourage pet owners to work with some of our obedience training courses to make sure that they don’t run into issues with excessive barking, jumping on guests and company, and to prevent them from bolting outside.
Puppy Training
Our puppy training program is going to be one of the best options that you can choose for your young dog. During puppy training, a dog trainer will work directly with the puppy to help with separation anxiety, potty training, and other important factors in puppy raising that you are worried about. Board and Train Program
While we are not a kennel, we are proud to offer a board and train program that allows your dog to receive the dog training they need while you are out of town. Our professional dog trainers will work directly with your dog, making sure that they are introduced to the best training methods.
Group Training
Once your dog is done with the private lessons, we invite them into some of our group classes. During this, your dog or puppy will have a chance to work with the dog trainer to practice some of the skills they learned during their other lessons. This is a great time to work on obedience training and to get your dog around other dogs as well.

Professional and Attentive Dog Lover and Trainer
Lorri is an animal lover with a particular passion for training dogs. She has owned dogs her entire life and been successful training dogs. When Lorri was introduced to Sit Means Sit in 2018, it was because she had received a very high-energy Dalmatian, Blue. It wasn’t only Blue who needed the Sit Means Sit training program, but also Blue’s humans.
Starting off as clients and seeing how successful the training program was for Blue, that was just the start. Lorri was hooked on continuing training. Blue learned so well and with sharpening the training tools, they went onto more advanced training. This sparked a fire in Lorri. She remembers saying within a few months that she wanted to one day own a franchise and train dogs professionally. The dream was finally achieved.
Lorri has grown Blue into being a sports competitor and he has a vital role in Sit Means Sit Volusia. Lorri is committed to sharing her knowledge and skills to everyone that would like to grow their relationship with their dog.
