We adopted a dog that we were told was trained, but we quickly found out she absolutely was not! We struggled to find good trainers; ones who would listen to us when we said she was a stubborn dog but a good one!

We found Lorri at Sit Means Sit Volusia and boy has she changed Aubri! She is learning to be gentle around our farm animals! She has learned place, leave it, and sit, and now can go on walks without walking us down the sidewalk. Most importantly, she learned to stop trying to jump the fence when packages are being dropped, or when someone is trying to hand us something. She will sit with my son and wait until they are done before approaching the fence!

I can NOT thank Lorri enough! Our dog Diesel is a weimaraner loads of energy smart as a whip but I could not get him under control. I met with Lorri and after the 1st 30 min consult, Diesel was already listening to commands. We started working on them at home and after the 3 visits he’s a very different dog. He has manners he does not pull when we are on walks or jump on us when entering our home. He is doing a lot better with our small dogs. And we are learning boundaries which he definitely needed. I thank you so much Lorri. We can not wait to come to group class to work on more training for our amazing doggie Diesel. 😄 You saved us from rehoming this beautiful pup.

Lorri with Sit Means Sit is amazing. Maverick completed her 3 day train program and wow what a difference. I didn’t even know where to start with puppy training and she made it so easy for me. Each week he would come home and she’d give me specific things to work on.

Truly the best part of this is the weekly group classes you get with this program too. I love that he gets the chance to reinforce the skills he’s learned plus we work on new things each week. We both look forward to our weekly class and I can’t wait to continue to watch my pup thrive!!!

I truly can’t say enough about Lorri and Sit Means Sit! She is amazing! We have Max, Mad Max, 10 month old, and 70 pounds of strong powerful energy. In just one lesson what a completely different ext, just walking him. He would literally almost drag me around the block. With 3 lessons, he is transformed into the dog we knew he could be. Lorri is a very patient & positive trainer. She really understands dogs & their behavior. My dog Louie was so reactive to people and other dogs. Walking him in the neighborhood was a challenge; his barking at people while in the car was a nightmare.

After one lesson ( and a ecollar) our life changed. He can be outside on the deck without raising cain and anyone going by. He can be on the street with others dogs and even a crowded dog beach. She was very gentle with Louie & constantly praised him.

She emphasizes that behavior changes takes consistency & owners must do their part. It works! I totally recommend her trainings.

I have been in Lorri’s SitMeansSit group training with my pup, Sandy, and he does so well. Her instructions are so easy to follow and Sandy enjoyed himself especially running through the tunnel or placing on the fire hydrant! Sandy would not be where he is today without SitMeansSit training! I had tried other trainings before but came away spending $$ and getting no results. The SitMeansSit program is worth every $ and I highly recommend her services

Lorri was great! She helped us with our year old pup so much more than we could have imagined. Lola was very stubborn at first but she helped her become more confident and we have a whole new dog. Thank you again Lorri!

Our one year old puppy Coco had two private lessons with Lorri. She had issues with barking at bikes, scooters, and etc. After these two lessons, she stopped barking at what she was afraid of. We still have work to do with her but Lorri taught us basic trainings and what Coco needed to work on. We are very happy!!

We adopted our shelter bully breed mix and immediately we realized how much professional training he required. Some nights it had us wondering if we made the right decision. Then after doing some research we decided to go with sit means sit and that could not have been a better decision. The change in his behavior is remarkable from where he started to where he is now. He used to puppy bite and he is 2 years old so that was a big issue, he no longer does that. He now has basic obedience commands and some advanced commands as well locked in. He was a dog I thought couldn’t be trained and I was proven wrong. Thank you Lori for the incredible training you’ve done with him and I’m looking forward to doing the group classes!

I couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome of our little girl Lucy behavior. She was a runner and hard to control on a leash. She loved attention and would run to anyone and jump all over them. My efforts prior to Sit Means Sit training were frustrating me. Within her first day, she was a such a different dog. After just a few sessions, I am able to be with her in my front yard with no worries of her running off. I can walk her down the street and easily have control of her.

While Lucy’s direct training was so successful and I recommend it for every dog owner, I feel the weekly meetups is such an amazing addition. We are meeting other dog owners and continual training for our pups. It’s also great training for us as the owners.

Lorri was amazing! Max has transformed into a better version of himself in just 4 weeks. The major concerns we had with Max have improved to a manageable level with all of the advice and training from Lorri. We look forward to even more progress through the group meetings included in the training.
