Kerry has worked her magic with my American Bulldog Molly! Molly today has been home one week and is a different dog. My Molly is only 17 months old and we were at the end of the line on what to do about her aggressive territorial behavior along with her hyper-ness and strong energy. I have two small children and Molly was a powerful dog who wanted to be in charge. Walks were a nightmare she would not cooperate at all and when she see strangers it was a fight to control her. I can proudly say she walks like a champ now. Molly stays by my side and ignores all distractions! We peacefully can chill as a family now, Molly knows now I’m in charge and she now has boundaries in the house. No more running after my son or running over my furniture. It’s amazing the changes we have right now. We were never able to have dinner without locking Molly in the kennel or kitchen now at dinner Molly just minds her own business. This past Saturday having guests over Molly did not seem to mind which was a huge Huge improvement, months ago she wouldn’t allow anyone she did not know in my house without wanting to growl and attack! We have some work to do but what a life changer!!! Molly has changed 110% and I owe Kerry for all her hard work and saving our Dog!

Rest In Peace Baby Girl. We love you Molly.

Kerry and her staff have two common principles for success, compassion and dedication. Kerry will work with you and your dog and will get the job done. Our dog has become the most obedient dog I have ever encountered. Throughout training I never felt like it was work or tedious. Kerry makes it enjoyable for you and your dog! Overall I cannot say enough great things about Kerry and I highly recommend her!

I got a rescue dog or year and a half ago and everybody told me I should give him back. He jumped on people, ate all my furniture and he had aggressive tendencies. A neighbor across the street recommended sit means sit and I called. Where’s the best phone call I made. Kerry treated him with loving care and kept him for as long as she thought he needed so he can return a civilized dog. She has been more than wonderful and has help me out by taking him back to her house on emergency occasions and otherwise. Without her he would be looking for a new home. I can’t say enough good things about this organization.

Reese has found a new love of training with Mom and Dad.  She has also learned many new tricks, such as weave, jump over objects, reverse, and dock diving.

Rohm was being fostered in Angie and Jackie’s home. When they finally placed him in a home, the family had experienced aggressive behaviors from Rohm. Angie and Jackie took on the responsibility of his behaviors and did they research on the breed and genetics of what would be causing these sudden acts of aggression. In their findings they discovered that aggression is common in Albinos because it is a genetic defect and not an AKC recognized color due to aggression and other health problems. Rather then putting Rohm down Angie sought out help from Sit Means Sit to help manage his behavior. They now can take Rohm on peaceful walks, have people come in the house, and even have people walk past the house without him barking and growling uncontrollably as he did before. Rohm has taken great strides in becoming a social dog.

When we adopted Jesse from the Animal Welfare League, the front desk staff recommended Kerry & Sit Means Sit for our obedience training needs.  I took the pamphlet, not knowing if we would need formal training or not.  After a few weeks, we noticed Jesse had some behavioral problems.  She pulled at the leash when we walked her, she chewed on table legs, she chased her feline brothers, she didn’t listen when called, and she escaped from the house several times for romps around the neighborhood.  After unsuccessfully trying to train her ourselves, we decided to call Kerry.  Kerry & Dave came to the house for a demonstration a few days later, and Jesse immediately showed that she was able and willing to listen to commands given.  We purchased the training package and set up our first training session.  After that first session, Jesse sat & stayed upon command, came when called, and sat in place when told… even when there were other, distracting dogs around!  We worked with Jesse and her new training collar for the next 2 weeks on our own, and then Kerry & Dave returned for a follow-up session.  Following that session, Jesse was able to heel perfectly!  Now we’re looking forward to attending group classes, to make sure Jesse stays current on her new obedience skills!

I can’t recommend Sit Means Sit enough.  The program works quickly and effectively, and it is worth the initial cash outlay.  Jesse was always a good dog, but now she obeys us when we need her to obey us.  Training doesn’t eliminate her personality, either.  When it’s appropriate for Jesse to romp, jump and bark, she can; when we want Jesse to be quiet and calm, she will.  And thanks to the lifetime membership to Sit Means Sit, we’re confident that Jesse will retain her new skills forever!
