Centennial Colorado Dog Parks

Centennial, CO is a lovely suburb on the southern side of Denver with a variety of shops, restaurants, and residential options. If you are a dog owner, you know that having a nice dog park that your dog can visit and run is important, as is finding a consistent place to make your dog comfortable. There are many, many dog parks in the Denver area and so we at Sit Means Sit have highlighted some of the best dog parks in Centennial, CO.

Hound Hill Dog Park

Smaller dog park south of the Centennial area and almost in the foothills, this is a great park with almost sand-like base and enough space to roam. Has some covered seating and a water faucet with bowls around. Not a huge space so if you have an extra large breed it might not be the best fit.

Rover’s Run at Redstone Park

Has a specialty double gate which is always good for safety. Has water facility available and plenty of trashcans around. Has limited seating and is relatively empty as far as features, but it pretty large to run. Is fairly dusty sand and can get messy if it has rained recently.

Cherry Creek Dog Off Leash Area

Extremely nice park with plenty of fenced-in space to roam – but do note that there is typically an entrance fee of $3 for this park. There is also a parking fee for the lot if you cannot find street parking. However if you pay the fee you get to enjoy the incredible facilities, which includes water and bathroom facilities, as well as fun dog playground equipment for training and enjoyment. This is one of the best kept parks in the city, and which it is paid it comes with benefits.

As South Denver’s leading dog trainers, we at Sit Means Sit are here to help with a variety of behavioral training, as well as dog boarding. Read more of our great dog training resources on our blog, and contact us today with questions!
