Why: It’s a bit of a surprise that a place called Alleycat would welcome dogs, but a truce has been called for this local eatery. There is an enclosed patio for time with fido, complete with a water bowl for your best friend. Perfect spot for a coffee and breakfast break.

Why: Just reading about the food made my mouth water. Ribeyes, fried chicken, and bourbon creme brulee is more than enough to make me run to get there. Good thing my four legged friend can run with me and be welcomed with a bowl of water. You can even share bites of your dinner with him, but I’m not sure I’d be willing to give any up.

Why: A legendary craft brewer, New Belgium is a location not to be missed. You need to plan ahead for the tours, but the patio is dog-friendly and the beers are out of this world delicious and eclectic. These may be sold at top shelf and corner liquor stores all around the United States, but getting it straight from the tap is a whole other experience.

Why: Unbelievably, another legendary brewhouse stakes out Fort Collins as it’s homebase. Odell has a wide variety of unmistakable and unusual brews, along with favorites that you can find in your hometown. Whether you’re visiting or lucky enough to live here, your pup is welcome on the patio where you can peruse their line-up of luscious brews and walk to the lot to find a number of amazing food trucks to satiate your hunger if you want.

Why: Within walking distance from a whole host of bars and pubs, this is in a prime spot for your drinking needs. But what makes this brewery a hot spot are the unique and special edition brews that only they make. This should be a standard place to visit with your doggo, and perhaps you won’t need to move on to anywhere else once you spend some time here relaxing on the patio.
