Yoshi the Shiba Inu | Practice, Practice, Practice

YoshiSit Means Sit South Bay is amazing!

I highly recommend Ryan, your first encounter with him would most likely be a consultation where you bring up your questions and concerns about your dog. He will let you know what he could do, how he could do it and also the different packages that he recommends. I went with his suggested puppy package when Yoshi (my beautiful Shiba Inu) was 6 weeks old.  The package ran 4 weeks and by the end, people couldn’t stop talking about how well behaved Yoshi was.  It might have been due to the fact that I started Yoshi very young, but Ryan made it extremely easy and clear for us to follow.  He explicitly explains that the key to success is based upon our effort but he will be right there with you. Yoshi didn’t learn any fancy tricks that other dogs may know but the amount of discipline he has, I feel comfortable with Yoshi walking on the streets without tugging, running, and will soon be off leash.

I was so impressed with the puppy package, that I enrolled Yoshi in Sit Means Sit’s 1 week board and train when he said Yoshi doesn’t need it.  This 1 week introduced Yoshi to an Ecollar, which makes us so comfortable off leaching Yoshi (which was one of our ultimate goals).

There is also a group class which is free of charge once you have satisfactorily completed one of their packages. To my knowledge Sit Means Sit South Bay is the only dog training businesses that does this to my knowledge.  The class runs for 1 hour every weekend unless something comes up.  Your dog will be able to socialize with other dogs as well as use other dogs as a mean of distraction during training.  Ryan takes things that you want to learn into consideration and have group class lessons based on what the popular demand is, which is really awesome when you want to learn things like scent detection. YOUR first time will be PRETTY difficult, but as you get through it, you’ll quickly see the progression of your dog.
Thanks Ryan for the amazing training! I’ll see you at group class over the weekend!
