Testimonials

Our dog Allie is a Great Pyrenees/Labrador mix. I knew that she’d be different than any other dog we had — she was dignified as a queen and clearly felt that her opinion was the only one that mattered. You have to understand, I would ask her to sit and she would maintain eye contact with me while she sat…as…slow..as…molasses! I mean she came with attitude! I knew that I wanted to train together from the start, and I enrolled in training at another facility before coming to Sit Means Sit. That training helped with getting her better at walking and sitting, but she was still very reactive to people/dogs while walking — I knew that behavior was not acceptable in a well-trained dog. However, I felt that I didn’t have the tools to communicate with her and that she was not getting the clear direction she needed from me. So, I called Sit Means Sit and Chase came for our consult. I knew within the first 5 minutes that I’d be enrolling and all I can say is that I wish I’d done it sooner. The transformation in Allie has been tremendous. After a month, she was no longer reactive to dogs or people on our walks and does a pretty good heel/come too! (we definitely need to come to group class soon). What I really like is the support that we got all through the initial training process — I had tons of questions and the entire team was so responsive and encouraging. If you put in the time, you will definitely be amazed by the results you get with your pet. I know I was! The best part is the feeling that our relationship with Allie has deepened and that this training can continue to improve and enhance her quality of life. Chase also provided such clear communication and demonstration of concepts; he showed that it doesn’t have to take months to get results. Honestly I can’t say enough good things about this training, it was worth every penny. I’m truly looking forward to how this training will continue to help Allie and I’m glad to know that Sit Means Sit will be there for the duration.

I can honestly say that I didn’t think it would work for my pup but Chase is amazing! Carlie is a new dog now. My 4yr old daughter was afraid to go near her because she was so energetic and liked to bite. Now she plays with her! Carlie is getting better and better every day!!

Chase is the best thing for your souls and your dog’s souls. He is intuitive and patient and super understanding. We are so grateful for Chase and the time he gave us. If you’re looking for dog training call now! Chase invests himself in your dog and he is sincere. Thank you so much Sit Means Sit!

Chase has been wonderful! He asked us what we wanted and tailored the training to focus on achieving those goals. Champ would go absolutely “bonkers” when he saw another dog. By the end of the third lesson, Champ was calmly sitting next to a dog he had never met.
Champ has graduated and we look forward to participating in Chase’s group classes.
We are very pleased with the progress and highly recommend Chase as a trainer.

OMG….I don’t know where to start. Chase is a God sent. We have a 1yr old busy Boxer and I do mean busy. We’ve had Boxers before but never this hyper. Chase was able to teach his parents how to parent him. All I can say is call Chase if you need help with chewing, behavior issues, or whatever. He will be your lifesaver and your dog will absolutely love him.

Chase is a magician! We have two working line German Shepard’s who we never imagined being able to do basic everyday things with. Within the first week-two weeks our dogs were doing what we thought was impossible. I’m so incredibly thankful we signed up with Sit means Sit & highly recommend to anyone considering them!

Chase is AWESOME! He is passionate about what he does and has a true understanding of how dogs think. Our crazy German Shepherds have made significant progress with training over the past couple months and continue to improve with each lesson. He works at our pace, but pushes both us and our dogs (in a good way) to achieve positive results. I would recommend to Sit Means Sit to any dog owner, no matter how crazy their dog is.

Chase is an amazing trainer!!! I reached out because my two male dogs were fighting to the point that I was thinking of re-homing one of the dogs. With Chase, he was able to help me train both dogs to listen and be more claim. They understand now that they do not need to fight for superiority, and that I’m the alpha. I’m working with Chase to train my third female dog now and the process is going great.

Chase and Catherine are the best in St Louis! Chase helped me prepare for my dog’s AKC Community Canine test. Thanks!

We reached out to Chase and Catherine to work on our dog’s stranger danger aggression. They have both been amazing at individualizing her training to her particular needs, meeting us at our home and out in the community. I was nervous about having a trainer tell me I was “doing everything wrong” but Chase brings an energy to training that is fun and helpful without feeling critical. I feel like they use good, thoughtful methods and truly care about us and our dog. 10/10 would recommend.

This training program is by far one of the best I have seen while trying to train my hard headed dog. Chase has always been very open with communication and helping in any way possible, which has helped my dog do better in training sessions. I am truly blessed to have found this program and I am seeing new results every day. I would 10/10 recommend Chase and the Sit means Sit program to anyone looking to train and connect with their dogs.

We came to Sit means Sit with our puppy to work on obedience. We did the puppy classes and then graduated to group class. I felt we were not really ready for that and possibly our labradoodle Beau was the worst in each class. He is a smart dog, but was also strong-willed and reactive to other dogs. We struggled with head up heel, staying on task and distractions for a few. We went to group class once or twice a week and then Covid hit. When group classes were back on I rededicated to 3-4 group classes a week. We did Chase’s classes consistently and we gained so much more than an obedient dog. Chase instilled confidence in me as the pack leader. Chase addressed our issues and helped me understand what to do. He encouraged and cheered us on. We went from attending group class to participating and testing in the hurricane games( an advanced class ) Chase is an outstanding trainer and person. He is patient with the dogs and their owners. He jumps in to help when he sees someone struggling and gives a positive shout out when he sees your successes. He explains and demonstrates what you should do and shows you how to do it. We looked forward to each of his classes and I was truly shocked the day when Chase called us out to be an example in class because we had mastered a skill! We are so very thankful for Chase and how he helped us have an obedient and happy dog!

Chase is the reason I’m not in the looney bin after adopting Sweet Caroline, a pup that quickly became way more than I knew how to handle. I wanted to have a safe, fun, and healthy bond with my new pup and Chase helped me and my husband get there!

We LOVED going to Chase’s group classes in Orlando. We put in the work with Chase and at home and it paid off. We had an anxious 20 pound pup that dragged me everywhere and that I didn’t know how to handle or train. She grew and trained to be a happy, healthy, obedient, 65 pound 2 year old dog that we take everywhere. And we get compliments from strangers everywhere we go.

Chase is extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind, and intuitive to you and your dog. He’s an awesome person and trainer. He makes learning and training fun! We miss him in Orlando, but we’re so happy for him, Catherine, and their fur family!

We signed up with our Golden Retriever, Kobe when he was just 12 weeks old. We wanted to be proactive and not have him develop any unwanted behaviors and to get him training at a young age. We’ve had many challenges the past few months but Chase was instrumental in helping us get to where we are now. Chase is a great trainer and truly cares not only about Kobe but about us as well. He holds Kobe to a high standard but also holds us as owners to a high standard and it’s paid off. It’s easy to find a trainer that will teach the basic obedience like “sit, stay, down” but Chase looks beyond that and develops behaviors that will help us in our goal of getting Kobe off-leash. At 10 months old, Kobe can now be off-leash when we go to get mail or bring our trash in. Chase has been a big part of that and we could not thank Chase enough for the time and dedication he has put in with us. Chase has a passion for dog training and it shows.

I am so pleased and impressed with Sit Means Sit in general. My Aussie puppy did a three week board-and-train since my work schedule limited my ability to go to group classes. They were very understanding and did an excellent job of explaining every aspect of their training methods, their e-collar, and were very open to questions. I met with a number of different trainers and every single one was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. The difference in my puppy is incredible. She listens (the collar really helps), she doesn’t bite me as I walk by, and she doesn’t bark for attention. For the go-home lessons, the trainers I met with were very patient with me as I learned how to work with her, explained the e-collar and its use in detail, and gave me pointers on how to work with specific challenges I was having. Excellent service, very pleased with the results, money well spent. Sit Means Sit is my go-to for dog training because of their quality work and friendly staff.

We took our two pitbulls to Sit Means Sit for training. Sit Means Sit did a wonderful job training our dogs. Kileaux was always easily distracted and Nikita was a rambunctious puppy. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in teaching us how to work with our dogs on continued training.

It is hard to find companies that will work with pitbull puppies, let alone full grown 115+ lb pitbulls. However, Sit Means Sit never failed to make my dogs feel loved and welcomed – which was an added bonus to the amazing quality of training we received. I will absolutely be referring Sit Means Sit to friends and family!

Chase was one of the first trainers I met at Sit Means Sit Orlando and became one of the main reasons I kept coming back. I primarily went to his group classes where not only did he safely and expertly handle groups of 10+ dogs with varying experience levels; but he consistently brought an amazing personality and shared his knowledge and humor with clients on a daily basis. He always lit up a room and made it his personal goal to create a bond with you and your dog and help you achieve your goals. I will always highly recommend him and 100% trust my dog, who is my best friend, in his hands.
