Welcome to Sit Means Sit Houston

Our Goal is to provide training programs which result in a confident, obedient, and happy dog. We understand every pet is unique and we strive to bring out the best in each.  It doesn’t matter if this is a puppy getting their first training, an older dog with long term bad habits or a dog with aggressive tendencies and behaviors. Our Industry-leading results and customer service will allow each owner to achieve the maximum control of their dog on and off leash while still allowing your pet to “act like a dog”.

Our Dog training programs address such things as:

  • Basic Puppy Manners
  • Come When Called
  • Leash Pulling
  • Houston Dog Training/MastiffHouse Breaking
  • Control Aggression
  • Jumping
  • Seperation Anxiety
  • Nipping And Chewing
  • Basic And Advanced Obedience
  • Nuisance Barking
  • Digging/Chewing
  • K-9 Work Dogs
  • Tricks And Agility

Each participant upon completion of our program will confidently:

  • Walk Your Dog Off Leash
  • Control Any Acts of Aggression
  • Call Your Dog And Be Rewarded With Immediate Obedience
  • Gain Control While Still Showing Your Affection

Always Remember, any “Dog Trainer” that says they can train your dog should meet with you and be able to show you how they work with their dog and yours first, before you make any decisions.  We always offer a FREE DEMONSTRATION AND CONSULTATION.

The Sit Means Sit dog training system is easy to use and carries the potential to transform your four legged family member(s) from a loveable liability into a happy and well-behaved family pet.

The Sit Means Sit training system is recognized for its simplicity and speed of transformation. The best part of the program begins with the Demonstration because it is proven in front of your eyes, before you invest your time!  Everyone enjoys the transformation from the first hour of its introduction, all the way up to the advanced ongoing training packages.

Call us today 281.912.DOGS (3647) or Email us and we’ll call you.  We look forward to meeting you and you pup.

We have two chihuahuas that are less than a year old and we want them potty trained as well as learning the basic commands (sit, roll over, come here). The most recent problem we have encountered is that they jump on the furniture and soil it.

Are these things you can help with? What is the process?

    Thanks,

    Mary Lopera

Hello. We really need help with our dog. She is a 5-year-old American Pit Bull that has severe aggression problems towards humans. She has slight aggression towards other dogs but she is usually pretty calm. As far as people goes, she barks, growls, snaps, and tries to bite humans she doesn’t know. She is far more protective against male people than she is around females. She has never drawn blood from anyone she has bit (its more like a warning bite) but she scares anyone she meets. It has got to the point where we can’t take her anywhere, our landlords and apartment managers want us to move if we keep her, and we love her but it is understandable that no one wants her on their property for insurance reasons. She is a great dog other than her aggression and if we could break the habit of growling and biting, she would be a dream-dog. To people who don’t know her, she is a demon, but to the people who DO know her, she is an angel. I can take a toy or food away from her and she doesn’t do anything but if someone walks ANYWHERE NEAR our property she snarls and snaps and growls. She is a great dog, she just needs some trust in humans. I have tried working with her at home but nothing is working to the full extent. We are in desperate need for help or else we will have to put her to sleep because we do not have many affordable choices to live that will accept her. It would be great if we could schedule a consultation for her just to see how much work she would take. I love her, but it is really not for my sake, it is for hers. It will be impossible for her to live anywhere else with her aggression (we have tried a few different times, nothing has worked…if she doesn’t like them, she never will, it seems like) so the only other option is to put her to sleep. PLEASE help us. We don’t have much but we are more than willing to try anything.

    -Dixie and Robert Denison
