Join Us at the Midtown Mutt Gala!
Step aside, MET! The Mutt Gala is entering the scene this year, rumored to have fabulous furry fashion and paws-itively the best treats in town. The event features a red carpet, a costume contest, and a DJ! Mark your calendars for April 30th and start ordering outfits for you and your pup! If you’re looking for a fun day in Midtown with Fido, keep reading to learn more about the Mutt Gala 2023!
Event Details
When? Sunday, April 30th, from 2 to 5 pm
Where? 10th Street Park: 1005 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA, 30309
Cost? Spectators have free entry and $10 to enter Fido into the costume contest
Upon entrance, pups experience a true Pup-arazzi with a fabulous red carpet, followed by entering a costume contest with amazing prizes! Winners of the costume contest are photo-featured at 10th Street Dog Park and receive a prize package from Four Legged Foodie. Food at the event is provided by Bravewojtek, created by a local pop-up chef, and drinks from Henry’s mobile bar! The event is hosted by the Midtown Alliance and sponsored by local favorite WM Events!
What to Wear
Fashion outfits are encouraged, not required. Add an adorable bowtie to their collar if your pup doesn’t like dressing up in a full costume! Amazon has hundreds of bowties to fit their personality and paw-fect style! Or, spice up your everyday routine with a fun printed leash and collar set. If your fur baby does enjoy a costume moment, this is the time to shine! PetSmart and Petco have many dog outfits, some more dedicated than others (good luck trying to keep a wig on your dog’s head all day!). No human dress code, as long as your outfit doesn’t overshadow Fidos!
