Dog Training Austin – Spastic and Very Rambunctious Great Dane

Client’s Name: Kim & Angie

Dog’s Name: “Chloe”

City: Cedar Park, TX 78613

Breed: Purebred Great Dane

Likes: Chloe is a very fun loving, playful Great Dane with a sweet demeanor. She loves snuggling, having her back scratched and racing around the yard at break neck speed!

Pet-Peeves: Chloe suffers from the “Scooby Doo Syndrome!” She gets startled by her shadow, our Quaker, and even the cat. She is also not too fond of baths or nail clipping.

Favorite Toy: Chloe loves her Kong and her blanket.

Favorite Treat: Her favorite treats are peanut butter, carrots, popcorn and Bill Jack.

Favorite Walk: This big girl likes to walk anywhere and everywhere. She loves car rides and going to Grandma’s house.

Best Trick: Chloe really likes to catch popcorn in mid air.

Arrival Story: When we went shopping for a Dane, we were really looking for a big one. We visited a reputable breeder with three litters of AKC registered pups. As we walked around watching all of these clumsy babies play around, I saw this little runt so much smaller than the rest, she was able to walk under her litter mates. She was being stepped on and kind of pushed around because of her size. That is when I knew she was the one for us. It took a lot of convincing, but my partner finally agreed. Now we have ourselves a “mini-Great Dane!”

Why Training / Sit Means Sit: Chloe is 2, but still a bit spastic and very rambunctious. A few months ago, my partner opened the front door to take some trash out Chloe darted out and almost got hit by a truck. That next weekend, we saw Troy and company at the Pecan Street Festival. After seeing that demonstration and observing Joson patiently staying on place while a whole family of deer walked by at our introductory meeting, we knew we had to do it for us and for Chloe.
