Since becoming part of the team, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. From tiny 5-pound companions to 150-pound giants, highly social dogs to fearful or reactive dogs with bite histories, every dog has presented a unique challenge and opportunity to learn. Over the last two years, I’ve also been involved with Canine Good Citizen (CGC) testing and our K9 Caring Angels therapy dog program, helping teams work toward therapy certification and advanced goals.
In addition to training, I enjoy meeting with families during consultations to discuss their concerns and goals. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is showing people that progress is possible and helping them realize they don’t have to live with behaviors that are causing stress or frustration.
Working at Sit Means Sit has been incredibly fulfilling because it allows me to combine my love of dogs with my passion for helping people. Watching both dogs and their owners learn to communicate more effectively and build stronger relationships is what makes this career so meaningful to me.
