An experienced trainer will work closely with dog with aggressive behavior towards other animals, other dogs, or humans. Our main focus is behavior modification and obedience training, making your dog feel confident about stressful situations. This program is a game-changer for your best friend!

Phase 1

During your dog’s first day at aggressive dog training boot camp, our trainers do their best to make your dog destress and relax. Drop-offs are stressful situations, but we work to calm down your dog, working through their separation anxiety in more than one sessions if necessary.

We want your pup to be comfortable with their dog trainer. We cannot move forward with the training session until your dog trust the trainers. Once they feel confident about being a team, we can move forward with behavior modification and basic obedience training. Using gentle positive reinforcement training, we will ensure your dog learns how to behave around other dogs, your family, strangers, and children.

Phase 2

After you dog trust their dog trainer, we can begin to assess the level of aggression or reactivity they struggle with. Depending on their aggressive behavior, we might start muzzle training both for their and the trainer’s safety during aggressive dog training.

We will also start training basic cues like “heel,” “sit,” and leash manners. These life-skills will give your dog something to focus on when they are stressed, making them feel confident enough to handle new environments or situations.

Phase 3

Once your dog begins to master basic obedience, we can focus on off-leash training. During reactive dog training, we like to focus on training a solid recall so you can trust them if you are ever in a situation where they are off-lead. Your dog will go on field trips to pet-friendly places so they can perfect these new good behaviors safely around other humans and dogs.

Phase 4

Still using the muzzle as a training tool, we continue to expose your furry friend to new distractions. We practice keeping their attention, getting rid of behavior challenges and rewarding good focus. The point of this dog training is for them to be able to calmly ignore other dogs and humans.

Phase 5

On your pup’s last stage of training, we practice the obedience skills they have been perfecting during boot camp. We want to safely take off their training equipment and see how they react. Our mission is to send your dog home to your family that can be perfectly controlled with good behavior, no matter what the situation is.
