SPOTLIGHT: MARLEY

Marley was born on September 18, 2012.

Blythe and Bryce met her when she was six weeks old and fell in love, she came home with them a few weeks later. We started training when she was 10 months old. She’s energetic and strong “77 pounds of love”. There is a sign on the front window of her home that reads “An overly affectionate lab lives here”. It’s accurate.

Marley likes being pet and playing, long walks through the neighborhood, squeaky toys and treats. She does not like being brushed. She also does not like cleaning supplies like the vacuum, duster or paper towels.

Marley’s training focused on leash walking, off-leash walking, building attention, placing, greeting people, letting Blythe and Bryce eat without bothering them, among many other things – all of which she was shown only a few times before picking up on everything very quickly!
