Client’s Name: Page

Dog’s Name: “Sadie”

City: Austin, TX 78728

Breed: Rescue Border Collie/Great Pyrenees Mix

Likes:Sadie likes watching the Cat in the house. My son and his wife moved back in with me and brought their cat. Sadie will sit for hours on the stairs just watching Nash the cat.

Pet-Peeves: Sadie doesn’t like to ride in the car. I’m not sure why but at least it’s not so bad when the pack is with her.

Favorite Toy: Sadie doesn’t really have a favorite toy, as long as she has something in her mouth then she is happy. I guess she likes the raw hide bones the best.

Favorite Treat: Pup-per roni is her favorite.

Favorite Walk: Sadie loves her walks and the dog parks. Now that we don’t pull any more, I actually love walking her now.

Best Trick: High Five

Arrival Story: I had just put down one of my dogs of 13 years and found an add for a border collie/prynees mix. I already have a male border collie/prynees mix and wanted a female of the same kind. I got her from Hutts for Mutts and we met in Killeen. Unfortunately they got the mix wrong but I have kept her anyway. Sadie is 14 months and weighs only 41 lbs. and that is as big as she is going to be.

Why Training / Sit Means Sit: Sadie pulls on our walks, I have tried everything to get her to stop, pinch collar, easy walk, halti and nothing has worked. So I drove by the van every day of Sit Means Sit on my way to work and finally went in to talk to Troy and now for the first time ever Sadie doesn’t pull anymore. I walked all 4 this morning and it was the most pleasant walk since I have had her. We have been only training for one week and what a difference it has been. She also had trouble coming when called, and now she comes when called. I can’t wait until we can be off leash and do the same.
