Client’s Name: Ed & Deb

Dog’s Name: “Chester”

Breed: Purebred Corgi

Likes: Loves to have his tummy rubbed. Especially likes treats and to go for walks. But his favorite thing is to chase his sister around during their “corgi games”.

Pet-Peeves: Come inside when he is barking at the neighbor’s dog. He would rather bark (and chew the fence)

Favorite Toy: Nylabones are his favorite – he is a big chewer

Favorite Treat: Jumbones and carrots

Favorite Walk: Anywhere outside is fine. He likes to go.

Best Trick: Down and stay

Arrival Story: We got Chester from a breeder in Lott, Texas. He came to us after we had to put down our Jack Russell Terrier, Pete. Pete was a marvelous dog but we felt we should try a different breed because there could not possibly be a better JRT. My husband had an interest in Corgis and we had even gone to a dog show to check them out. Long story short, we got Chester when he was 12 weeks old and are crazy about him.

Why Training / Sit Means Sit: We believe that training a dog is an investment. Corgis typically live up to 18 years so we have quite a number of years ahead of us. Dogs are lifetime commitments and we want to be as happy with him years from now as we are today. We saw Sit Means Sit at the Home and Garden Show and were impressed by the demonstration.

Motto: Chester is a dog with a big smile. He always looks happy and wants to please everyone.
