We were really at the end of our rope with our dog who we love dearly but has a lot of behavioral issues. The fact that the Sit Means Sit team was willing to work with him even knowing he’s bitten before really gave us hope. We boarded him for a bit and have been doing lessons as well- he just graduated to group classes! The team has been professional, optimistic (but also realistic), and accommodating the entire process. Our boy still has a long way to go but he’s also come a long way with their care. If you’re willing to put in your half of the work, they will be with you every step of the way!

They have always been so open and friendly! We have really enjoyed working with Daniel! He was so attentive and our pup really bonded with him and his gentle approach!

My 3 year old English Mastiff rescue (160lbs) would lunge & pull & bark at other dogs on walks, after about 5 sessions & a few group classes he a completely different dog. He feels more confident, focuses on me more & I can now walk him without fear or being dragged down the sidewalk. 10/10 recommend Sit means Sit. They know what they are doing & won’t give up on you or your baby.

We sent our 6-month-old Lab to Sit Means Sit for their 5-day board and train (which is actually 7 days), and the results have been incredible.

Our main goals were off-leash reliability, strong recall in high-distraction environments (like dog beach), and stopping jumping. Todd was our trainer, and he was awesome—he spent over an hour with us at drop-off going through commands and how to properly use the e-collar. I even called him because we were having issues with one of the commands and he explained exactly what to do and now we haven’t had any issues.

The first couple days took some adjustment, but after consistent practice, she picked everything up quickly. Todd dropped her off Tuesday, and by Saturday we already had her off-leash at the dog beach with zero issues.

Couldn’t be happier with the results—highly recommend.

Daniel has been incredibly helpful and patient while working with both Cowboy and me. We’ve completed three training sessions so far—two at the facility and one in our home—and have already seen great progress. The program moves at a strong, efficient pace, and we’re looking forward to our fourth session. It’s been amazing to see such a noticeable improvement in Cowboy’s walks.

Sit Means Sit and our dog trainer Daniel have been so amazing! We boarded our 1.5 year old golden retriever with them for 10 days and he was treated so well and learned so much. Daniel made such progress with correcting his bad behaviors and now, with Daniel’s guidance, we are continuing his training at home. We are so thankful for Sit Means Sit and Daniel! Fantastic! Standard enthusiast poodle. Loved his enthusiasm, but made it difficult to walk and handle and control around other people (and he loves people) and dogs (and he loves dogs). Very sweet but that sweetness often made him hard to corral. Now I can walk him with no tugging on his leash and pretty soon he’ll not even need his leash. Much more enjoyable puppy.

Daniel has taught our dog for 2 lessons, he’s great. Patient with him and excited when he accomplishes something.

We signed up our puppy when he was 5 months old. We were a bit nervous to start with a one week stay, but were impressed with the amount of training he received after such a short period of time. The follow up sessions have also been great as they reinforce learned skills and ensure both our pup and we are trained to continue the methods our puppy was taught. So far the sessions have been well worth the cost and we’re really thankful we signed up.
