Our group training program is included for the first year after enrollment in one of our core training programs. After the first year, clients can continue attending for a yearly renewal fee. To participate, dogs must first complete one of our training programs and graduate successfully.
These sessions help dogs practice their obedience skills in real-life situations filled with distractions, including new environments, people, and other dogs. By training outdoors in a group setting, dogs learn to remain focused and responsive no matter where they are.
Group classes are also a great way for owners to stay involved in their dog’s progress while continuing to strengthen obedience and confidence. Benefits of our group training sessions include:
- Opportunity for clients to be social with other dog owners
- Drills that help clients increase their dog’s level of attention and performance
- Drills to build confidence in all dogs, especially helpful for fearful dogs
- Drills to help dogs can become neutral in their response to other people and dogs
- Tips on things to work on at home during the week
- Access to trainers for clients get face to face advice on any training concerns
