Sit Means Sit Has This Rambunctious Young Pup Obeying Like A Champ!

kala-mccreadyOur German Shepherd is a very high energy puppy and with a newborn we had no time for her. We called Megan and chose the 15 day board and train. Kala came back a listening dog! We now know how to handle her rambunctious puppy tendencies and wear her out in a way that she needs. Megan was so patient with her and us. Would recommend to anyone who has a high energy dog or would love to teach an old dog new tricks!

Obedience Training Has Helped Molly Become The Perfect Hostess!

molly-binderHi Megan! We are beyond satisfied with Molly’s new found behavior! Prior to you and Sal working with her, she was all over the place and dominated every walk and run…now, she is focused and (somewhat – even) patient 🙂  Thank you for your work with us and Molly. Without you both, we could not have accomplished Molly’s transformation!

Sincerely, Nicole and Tim Binder (and Molly 🙂 – Tampa, FL

Obedience Around Distractions Has Turned Grady Into A Confident Pup!

grady-goulderMy husband and I were beyond thrilled when we spotted a little wire-haired terrier named Grady peeking out from his kennel at the Humane Society last April. We instantly fell in love and he became a part of our family. Once we had him home, we realized that our cuddly, friendly, and energetic pup was also extremely stubborn. While we never had to worry about him around other dogs, kids, or people, training him was a struggle. He didn’t respond to his name or commands when there were distractions around and he was quite the escape artist. While we knew training him would take time and patience, being more stubborn than a terrier was near impossible for my husband and I. Our friends, who had done a board and train with their equally as opinionated terrier mix, raved to us about the impact Sit Means Sit had on their dog. We signed Grady up right away! We loved receiving pictures and videos of Grady hard at work while he was away and we were absolutely blown away with the results of just a short, 5 day board and train. During the return lesson, Megan was incredibly thorough with explaining his training and was so patient while my husband and I tried our hand at it. Before going to Sit Means Sit, Grady would dash out any open door and run up and down the block. Now our little scruff mutt is focused and can be trusted to listen off leash, even on our busy street. We couldn’t be more grateful to Megan for all of her hard work and for giving Grady a loving and fun-filled environment while he learned the ropes. My husband and I now feel confident in our ability to keep up Grady’s training at home and we look forward to our follow up lessons with Megan to help him progress even further. Thank you SO much Sit Means Sit!

Sit Means Sit Aggression Control Keeps Tango Focused Around Distractions!

Tango BattagliaI came to Sit Means Sit because my dog had uncontrollable energy, aggression towards men, and pulled very bad on a leash. His energy is now directed towards focusing on commands! He’s done much better with men, once he is told to sit, he seems more comfortable and safe around them opposed to a protective aggressive mode. Megan was great with him! I can tell she has a great love for ALL animals!

Thank you!

Sit Means Sit Helps Lady Enjoy Life Again!

Sit Means Sit is Awesome!! I’ve had dogs all my life but was having a lot of issues with a 2 year old pit mix named Lady, up to the point where I was about to give her up. I have been rehabilitating from shoulder and back injuries and she would pull really hard, run away if I dropped the leash and wasn’t the best with other dogs. Now lady goes to the dog park and shares elevators with different dogs everyday, she can heal perfectly and is getting really good at off leash. She and I are both so much happier and enjoying life,We’re so grateful. Thanks for everything!

The Family Is Enjoying These Two After Obedience Training!

Lacy & Lily BidgoodSit means Sit has saved our sanity. We got our Lacy a (corgi/dachshund) mix when she was 2 years old from the humane society so she came with some baggage. Peeing on rugs, anxiety, constant begging and no discipline. We had no idea how to control it so we dealt with it. One year later we adopted Lily at 8 weeks a Teacup Yorkie. She immediately became the princess of the house and did whatever she wanted. She learned bad habits quickly from Lacy and before I knew it had 2 dogs begging, not listening and had the run of the house. I constantly was frustrated and yelling at them and wondered what I was thinking. We have a very busy house with 3 teenagers and constant commotion. My husband and I both work full time had just bought a new house and never dreamed we would have time to train. We met Megan at a home show in Tampa and stood back and listened to her for quite awhile and watched her with the commands with her dog. After talking to her for just a few minutes my husband and I immediately liked her and trusted her. We signed up for the free consultation. Megan came to our house a week later and that was it we signed up. That lesson has been a life changer. We immediately saw results out of both dogs. After 2 weeks of training I had Lacy go with Megan for a board and tune up while we were away. Lacy came back a different dog. Now after a month and a half of training I have total control of my house again. With just a few commands the begging has stopped. Lacy no longer has anxiety and although Lily is still the princess she listens now. Sit means Sit and Megan have helped me enjoy my babies and to stop yelling at them. A huge THANK YOU goes out to Megan for helping my family!!

Phineas Masters being Calm, Cool, and Collected!

Phineas HooperPhineas was cute a sweet but hyper dog. After a week of Board and Train,he is much calmer, listens better and is a joy to walk. Even in a household with 7 year twin boys he keeps his cool and listens to commands. He has been practicing his training with various friends and family to be sure he remembers to listen to everyone. So proud of his progress and so grateful to Megan for her help! Also must mention that we had family issues going on and Rachel was a huge help in working with us with scheduling to assure Phineas had the best possible experience.

Sit Means Sit Helped Trigger Gain His Confidence Back!

Trigger Weiss

I was desperate to help our son’s dog be part of the family. Trigger spent 10 days with Megan and has regular sessions with her and he certainly is up for Most Improved Puppy of the Year! The whole family dreaded to have Trigger visit. He’s so lovable, but he needed a little…ok a LOT of help focusing and relaxing. Trigger also suffers from some separation anxiety issues and Megan helped him and us through those issues as well. I can walk him now, instead of him dragging me down the street. The best financial investment we have made with him was giving him to Megan for 10 days. Thanks Sit Means Sit and especially Megan!!! I would highly recommend Sit Means Sit for your training needs.
