Since you will be in Victor Ashe Park, you can also indulge in their children’s playground, fishing, duck pond, and greenways to walk your dog without burning their paws on concrete.

Tommy Schumpert PetSafe Dog Park

The Tommy Schumpert Dog Park offers two separate off-leash sections, a 30-pound and under area as well as a non-weight restricted area free for all pups to use. The section specifically for smaller dogs is great for allowing your pup to comfortably play and socialize with other dogs their size if they are easily intimidated by bigger dogs. The all-sizes are though includes mulched walking trails and a beautiful pond with a dock. With an abundance of area to roam you furry friend will be kept busy exploring.

Holston River PetSafe Dog Park

Relatively new since it opened in 2012, the Holston River Dog Park is located along a two-mile Holston River Greenway. They provide a two-acre dog park that has separate areas designated for small and large canines. Holston River Dog park also offers plenty of shade for Fido and even has a fire hydrant located in their enclosure that your pooch will flip for. If you decide to make a whole day out of this trip, you’re in luck because the park also provided covered picnic benches and a playground for children.

Downtown PetSafe Dog Park

Being the second dog park built from the PetSafe Village funding, Downtown PetSafe Dog Park has a beautiful entrance that compliments the encompassing city buildings. For downtown residents, this park offers extreme convenience and provides free parking after 6 pm. Once again this park has separate play areas for smaller and larger dogs, doggy fountains and waste stations.
