High Drive Puppy- Happy Puppy/Safe Puppy

My husband and I adopted a puppy, Bran, to keep our older dog occupied. Bran was definitely a high energy puppy, and as sweet as he could be, he just couldn’t calm down long enough to listen to us. Although we tried training him ourselves, he still jumped on our guests when they came over, he still ran through the house with energy we couldn’t control, and he still refused to learn how to walk nicely on a leash. That is when we contacted Bob from Sit Means Sit to help us with our training needs. We decided to board and train Bran and took a leap of faith letting our cute pup spend a week with Bob. When the week was over, Bran came back a completely different dog! He still has his high energy personality, but now we have control over it! He now walks nicely by our side when we take him out on a leash, he sits and stays on command and backs off from guests when they come over. He no longer rushes to the door to jump on whomever walks through, and instead is learning how to sit in one place and wait for a command to greet our guests. I am really pleased with the results we have seen through our training efforts. The best part, and most fun, is after Bran came home and it was our turn to be trained! Bob was very nice and super helpful in showing us how to keep up with his training commands. He addressed every concern we had, showed us ways to minimize training problems, made himself available any time we need him. It felt like working with a good friend rather than a stranger. We definitely will use Bob again if we ever have training needs and recommend him to anyone considering doing the same.

Shortly after receiving this testimonial, I received this text “Bran accidentally got out of the house.  Dad ran after him and called for him to come and Bran listened! We didn’t have to chase and he is now home safe”
