Remy the Dock Dog
We have featured Remy several times here on the Sit Means Sit South Denver Blog. An 8 year old Belgian Malinois, Remy is a part of the Sit Means Sit family. Denver dog trainer Jon Langdon received Remy as a wedding present from his wife and a close friendship was forged immediately. Not only is Remy famous among the Sit Means Sit Denver community, he’s received national attention from none other than Purina!
A serendipitous event uncovered a talent neither Jon nor Remy realized he had. On a whim, Jon decided to enter Remy in a DockDogs competition. Having never trained or practiced, Remy took first place. A love for the sport was born and Jon and Remy began training for future competitions. Jon’s skills as a top rated Denver dog trainer proved very useful. Soon Remy was competing and placing in the national Purina Incredible Dog Challenge and the DockDogs Canine Aquatics Competition circuits. After charming crowds and taking coveted titles, the folks at Purina decided to feature Remy in a promotional video.
