Dog-Friendly Oktoberfest in Denver

In 2019 Denver Oktoberfest is celebrating their 50th Year on Larimer Street! This six-day festival has been quoted by Maxim Magazine and USA Today as “The Best Oktoberfest” in the US and for good reason: Denver’s Oktoberfest is dog-friendly. You can attend Oktoberfest Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from September 20th – 22nd and the following weekend of the 27th – 29th. Admission starts at just $30 per person. Get a weekend pass to catch all the action with your favorite furry friend.

Long Dog Derby

The 14th Annual Long Dog Derby takes place on September 22nd at 11am. You can register your Weiner dog in one of the 6 categories including: Little Links (Dogs less than 1 year old), Frankfurters Group A (Dogs Ages 1 + 2), Frankfurters Group B (Dogs Ages 3 + 4), Bier Brats (Dogs Ages 5 – 9), Senior Schnitzels (Dogs 10 + up), and Wiener Wanna Be’s (Dachshund supporters!). After the Derby there will be a Costume Contest for all dogs in attendance! To register your dog visit the Facebook Event here.
