Dog-Friendly Things to Do in STL

For the St. Louis natives or for those who are here for a visit, you may be trying to think of fun ways to get out on the town.

Well, you’re in luck because we have compiled a list of the best dog-friendly things to do in STL.

21st Street Brewer’s Bar

This bar is paying homage to the city it resides in by offering beers on tap from all of the local brewers in the city, as well as the best domestic and international craft beers. The ambiance is great, the patrons are friendly, and the bartenders are very knowledgeable. Bring Fido here for a happy hour drink in the beer garden!

Gateway Arch National Park

This park is nestled right under the iconic Gateway Arch and has trails and paths for you and Fido to walk on and take in the site of this spectacular monument. Only service dogs are allowed to go in but your pooch will have a ball in the grass of this park.

Bar K

Located in The Grove, Bar K is a wonderful place to have a drink, get a bite to eat, and meet new friends, human and canine. Dogtenders are on site to watch Fido while you enjoy your meal and there is a full dog menu available full of delicious dog-friendly options. If you have an indecisive eater on your hands, order a doggie flight that comes with any three menu items.

They all have an on-site, full-service grooming salon if your pup needs a bath or a haircut. They also have a self-bathing facility if they need to freshen up before going home.

Riverboats at the Gateway Arch

These river cruise boats invite Fido to join you as you take in the views of downtown St. Louis from the Mississippi river. Dogs must remain on a leash and you must call ahead to reserve a spot but it is sure to be an adventure neither of you will forget.

Zoomies Pet Cafe + Boutique

This coffee shop and dog park welcome customers to bring their leashed pets inside for a delicious snack. They have a full espresso bar as well as a shop that offers items such as dog toys, clothing, decor, and much more.

Out back, they have a fenced-in area where your pooch can play off-leash. They must be registered before having a session in the park.

There are tons of places to take your dog in St. Louis if you are looking to get out of the house and experience the city. And if you are just coming for a visit, here is a list of dog-friendly hotels in STL.
