Check Out How Dog-Friendly These Companies Are

The saddest part of the day is leaving Fido behind when we want to spend the whole day snuggling them and giving them attention. Some companies understand the impact our furry friends have on us. So, read below to learn about these dog-friendly companies.

Etsy

Etsy is one of the first companies to lead the way for dog-friendly companies. The brand has welcomed dogs in the office since 2005. Additionally, they now offer a hybrid work model. So, employees can work at home or in-office with their furry friends.

Urban Outfitters

Urban Outfitters headquarters in Philadelphia welcomes dogs into the office. Additionally, they even have on-site dog parks! Check out their employee pups here! Also, leashed dogs are welcome to accompany shoppers in the store!

Airbnb

Not only can you search for “pet-friendly” Airbnb rentals, but the company also treats employees’ pups with great care. At Airbnb headquarters in San Fransisco, dogs are given an individual employee badge and in-office snacks!

Google

Believe it or not, Google’s code of conduct states “affection for our canine friends is an integral facet of our corporate culture. We like cats, but we’re a dog company, so as a general rule we feel cats visiting our offices would be fairly stressed out.” Also, employees can bring their furry friends to the office. While they are there they have access to the Doogleplex dog park and the Dooglers group and message board.

Subaru

Subaru aims to raise awareness for dogs in need of adoption by partnering with animal shelters. The Subaru Loves Pets initiative’s ambition is to raise money for pets in need. Through this initiative, they have helped over 100,000 dogs find forever homes and have donated over $42 million to various rescue organizations.

Microsoft

Microsoft offices are pet-friendly and allow employees to bring their furry friends. Additionally, the company offers pet insurance to their employees who are pet parents. How cool!

Ben & Jerry’s

While the company makes some amazing ice cream (and even some dog friendly treats), they also have dog-friendly offices around the country. The company’s canine crew is called the K9 to 5ers. Each day they are given treats and pets before starting their day!

There are other dog-friendly companies but these are some of the great and well-known businesses. We love spoiling our furry friends so it is great to see corporations doing the same!
