About the Event
The Stretch for a Cause at Dallas DogRRR event is meant to bring together two great things that make people relaxed, stress free, and happy – dogs and yoga! The event is in association with Dallas DogRRR (Rescue.Rehab.Reform). This organization not only just rescues abandoned dogs straight off the streets, but also rescues dogs who are set to be euthanized from high-kill shelters. With their donations, they can provide these dogs food, water, and shelter, alone with physical and mental rehabilitation for these dogs, which often means medical care.
The event will start our with a yoga class, which will then be followed by puppy playtime and a Dallas DogRRR adoption event. There will be many dogs up for adoption that are looking for homes. While you meet new dogs and play with these furry friends, you can also enjoy some beer some the brewery at the location, Oak Highlands Brewery.
Tickets
The $25 ticket will get you not only just admission to the yoga event, but much more. You’ll also receive 2 Pints of Oak Highlands Brewery Beer and additional pup playtime at the adoption event, which we’re sure you’re going to love. How could you not want more time with these amazing four-legged friends!?
About the Yoga Class
This yoga class that will kick off the event will be led by Peggy Breeze from The Balanced Yogi. Peggy is the perfect instructor for this event, as she is a local fitness entrepreneur and frequently teaches in the community. Peggy is excited to share her love of yoga with all who join at the event! For the yoga itself, be sure to bring a mat, a water bottle, and a towel. This class will be taught for all levels (even beginners!) so don’t feel intimidated! Come out and modify for your level of experience. We’re sure it will be a great time no matter how much or how little you’ve practiced yoga.
Hope to see you out at this adventure that will be not only great fun and exercise, but also will benefit the dogs in your community. So come out, make a donation to DallasDogRRR, and maybe even find your newest family member!
