We rescued a high energy GSD/Husky mix puppy and knew from the beginning that we were going to need lots of training to meet his mental and physical energy demands. Thankfully, we found Sit Means Sit after scouring the internet for reputable trainers in the area and after going through the puppy class, we can definitively say that the outstanding reviews are spot-on! The trainers are patient, knowledgeable, and put in extra one-on-one work during the class with my dog. We have several popular dog training programs in our city but make the longer drive to Sit Means Sit because that’s how amazing they are! If you are looking for a group puppy class, this is the one!

Real, professional dog training. We sent our dog to their 10 day immersion training and he came back the same happy puppy but now he actually listens to us. It’s not a one and done thing though, they also train you how to keep it up and it’s a lot of work. Every trainer we worked with was extremely knowledgeable and able to help target our problem areas. Excited to start their group training next.

Our dog Sophia just finished the Sit Means Sit day training program and the difference in her behavior is obvious. She is the same fun-loving dog as before, but she listens and tunes out distractions better! We like that the trainers work with both the dogs and their humans so that success can continue outside the three week program. Everyone we’ve worked with at Sit Means Sit is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. There are several dog training businesses that are closer to our home, but we prefer to make the longer drive to Sit Means Sit because we know they care about Sophia and she has responded so well to their program. We can’t wait to start taking the group classes!

Sit means sit has been the best dog training I have experienced. I have two polar opposite dogs – 1 happy go lucky golden and 1 not so friendly mini Aussie mix and SMS has really helped with how to deal with all different temperaments. We love coming every week to dog training as the trainers and dog handlers all love what they do!

After taking our 1 year old Goldendoodle, Tucker, to Sit Means Sit for their Immersion Training, he returned home a much happier/obedient family member. Our time with Tucker is now more enjoyable due to skills that were taught. With continued reinforcement at home, I have no doubt that he will continue to be the best dog we will ever have.

Loved the puppy class! They keep the size of the class small. I’ve been to another puppy class company and they had way too many dogs! Also, they allowed supervised play time which really gave me confidence to have my puppies around other dogs. We’ll done trainers!

We took our very stubborn dog for the Immersion training and couldn’t be happier. Not only did he receive that terrific training, we are doing follow up training with Megan “Mutz”. She is so good with not only the dogs, but with the owners. I always feel so confident and empowered within myself to have the control needed to maintain boundaries for our dog. This has been the best decision for all of us.

I am so happy with my decision to send my dog to the Immersion Inn Training at Sit Means Sit. All of the staff at SMS are friendly and helpful anytime I have a question about anything. I also love the weekly group classes!

Megan was very through about what the training for our dog would entail. Was very patient and answered all questions we had. Had positive feedback on what our dog will accomplish at the end of training. A good experience

SMS has been great for our dog Melvin. We initially brought him in for some possession/aggression issues. These issues have been significantly improved and we are wowed at the obedience we’ve been able to achieve through immersion and continue practice at group class. Melvin is ecstatic every time he gets to go to group class.

Sit Means Sit has been instrumental in helping us train Maple! We’ve enjoyed continuing his training through the weekly group classes. The trainers are wonderful and are always available to help work through specific focus areas.

Sit Means Sit is a fantastic place to train your dog(s). The staff is friendly and really knows their stuff. They go above and beyond for their clients and have helped my dogs Jupiter and Disney tremendously. My dogs are happier and healthier because of their training programs.

This is our second experience with SMS and it’s gotten even better. Kyra and I started when she was about a year old and the training has made her a better companion and me a better “mom”. The trainers are always helpful and willing to answer questions and address problems along our journey. The training facility is large, clean and conducive to learning. It’s a serious learning experience but also fun along the way!

My puppy, Libby, had a real shy side to her personality. This class gave her confidence and she became less fearful of strange experiences with every week. Puppy play time was really something to see! She didn’t care what size the other dogs were and stopped hiding under the chairs, unless she was tired and needed a time out! She now seems happier and can’t wait to go outside when the leash comes out. Thank you to everyone involved with this program, and Tracy and Natalie….you’re the best!

Its the greatest investment you can do for your dog. This is my second dog to get trained with them. Nick talks you through the steps and how the collar works. I even used the same collar from my last dog because the equipment is so great. Marie our trainer was so kind and gave great feed back. Still learning and looking forward to the group classes to keep working on all of Henrys skillzzzz! Well worth the investment to have a happy and safe dog.

Sit Means Sit (immersion program) has changed my life as well as my dog’s in the best way. I can’t say enough great things about them. They are extremely knowledgeable and successful with their program. They simultaneously can teach your dog the skills she/he needs in order to be safe, happy, well adjusted and obedient. They also allow your dog to be a dog!! My girl’s excitement when we pull into the parking lot is palpable! Don’t walk, run and sign your dog up! Special thanks to Megan and Nick for everything you’ve done so far for Lottie and I!

I want to begin with a great thanks to the Monday Night puppy training. Natalie and Tracy are awesome and very helpful. They are really teaching me and it’s awesome to have professionals there to ask questions and to guide you on your way to a better relationship with your puppy. Thank you guys and Onyx says thanks too.

Our entire experience from day 1 has been amazing! We were skeptics at first but the entire team assured us every step of the way. Our doodle completed a 13 day stay at the facility and had a great experience. She has been a completely different dog since she came home and we couldn’t be more pleased! Highly recommend this program. Thank you to the entire staff!

I enrolled my 6 month old Goldendoodle Riley into the 6 day bootcamp package. I was very nervous to leave my dog there for an entire day, but I soon realized how much the trainers care about your dog and I knew it would be good for him to have that stimulation during the day. Riley has learned so much in just 6 classes and now he is ready to attend group class. Riley has gotten very good at waiting by the door and waits until I say “Let’s Go” before he exits the door and he is able to hold his sit for longer periods of time. The trainers are really great; each day I picked up Riley I worked with the trainer for about 15 minutes and she was awesome at helping me learn the routine. I’m really glad that I did this. I’m excited to start group class and to continue working with Riley and the trainers. It’s so nice having a well behaved dog and I know that this next year of group class is really going to help develop those skills even more. Thank you!

I.. and my dog…. absolutely LOVE sit means sit. My golden retriever (Stoick) has attended the AKC puppy class as well as the Day Training program. I have seen such a huge difference at each session with Stoick. He knows what days he goes to training, and he is always SO SO excited to go. With the training, we have formed a bond that allows us to understand each other. His training included him learning to not bolt out of the doors to the outside, walking on his leash without pulling, following my direction (with heel or even without it being formal), staying in a place without me being nearby with the expectation of him remaining in that place until I say it’s okay and being a dog. The trainers are really awesome! They do love your dog as if they were their own. They are so knowledgeable with training and about your fur baby. Sit means sit claims they don’t train wives, husbands or kids.. but I have to disagree. I think Stoick’s trainers have trained me as much as they have trained him. I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do when we don’t see them as often! Highly recommend!!

SMS changed our dogs life and our family. Our 7 year old German Shepherd was out of control and barely able to be in our lives. We immersed her in a two week program and it was worth every penny. Our dog had many bad habits such as: aggressive to other animals, excessive barking, not obeying any orders. In two short weeks they were able to correct all of these issues and the dog seems happier than ever. If you don’t have the time or knowledge to correct fix a problem dog but want to keep it in your life, this is the way to go. Our dog is now involved in so many of our activities instead of running the yard unsupervised or locked in her cage. Don’t worry about the age either as our dog was 7 years or old and was still able to learn. The staff are all awesome loving dog owners that will treat your animal with the care and respect you would hope for. They basically saved our dog as we were contemplating putting her up for adoption. We are so glad we didn’t and found Sit Means Sit. I can only say that I had my doubts as our dog was extremely hyper and stubborn. It was nearly impossible to take her on a walk and now we look forward to taking her out. She follows commands and is calm near other animals. Very appreciative for their efforts. Highly Recommend!!!!

We are impressed from the results of the 6 day training that we enrolled our puppy Stevie. When we picked him up and began follow up at home he understands commands very well. Seeing a puppy react to commands is so much fun and simply amazing. The staff have all been of the exceptional customer service culture. Friendly and helpful. I give Sit Means Sit my highest possible recommendation and I thank them for their amazing product.

Best training place for pups ever! Both of my puppies went to day training. The change in their behavior is enormous. I take them to work with me every single day. People constantly compliment me on their behavior and their manners. Training brings freedom. I can take them anywhere with me.

We sent our one year old black lab to the three week immersion program, after trying a few different training classes we were at our wits end with his behavior issues. He was out of control and would nip, bark, dig, grab and anything he could find and run around the house, and we couldn’t take him anywhere. He has been home for three weeks now after his immersion at SMS he is a different dog, not only do we have control over him but we can take him places with us, he is more loving and affectionate and we are able to do things with him that we never thought possible. I can’t thank the trainers at SMS enough, you are awesome!!

The best place to train your dog, period. Our golden retriever had all sorts of obedience issues. Was jumping on people, dogs, cars and listened to nothing except when we gave him treats around the house. When trying to find good training place, all Google reviews pointed to Sit Means Sit so we scheduled a demo with Nick and were amazed by what they offer. It was a no brainer, we signed up for the Immersion program right away. After 13 days it was like we picked up another dog. He got a ton of attention, love, patience and training that is just ridiculously good. Trainers were great and provided feedback every couple days. When they sent a video of our puppy walking next to them inside Home Depot, and not jumping on people, I was shocked. The training is that efficient, yes! One week after coming back, he is great off leash, responds to commands and our walks around the neighborhood are finally enjoyable. He is happy when we praise his behavior and does things even better. His attention is 100% directed towards us. Our hands don’t hurt from pulling the leash! One of the best investments we made and recommend Sit Means Sit to everyone!

I cannot even express how much I love Sit Means Sit & all of the trainers! They do such an amazing job with all dogs. They have helped me train my aggressive 95 lbs Golden Retriever to my loving 10 lbs Pomeranian. No dog is too small or too big for them to help you with training. They truly care about everyone & understand that dogs are a part of the family. I have also participated the in AKC Star Puppy program which was a great way for our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to learn basic manners and how to interact with other dogs. I look forward to going to group class every week and seeing how well all the dogs in class are progressing. Thanks Sit Means Sit, We love you all!

We are still in awe at how much Henry has transformed from returning from his 13-day immersion program. Henry is now one year old, previously spending 9 months living in a crate at a rescue before we found him. He didn’t know how to go up/down stairs or even play with dog toys when we first got him, let alone commands. Both Megan and Jill were able to bring out the intelligent and obedient gentleman in Henry, while instilling confidence in him and allowing his playful and silly personality to still shine through. From the first home visit to the time he came home to show off his new smarts, Henry continues to make us proud. He’s the best dog in the neighborhood! We can’t wait to continue this learning adventure in group classes with Sit Means Sit.

Just got back from the annual customer appreciation party. Been a part of this amazing facility for a year now. Trainers are friendly and dogs are treated with love and respect. The group classes have different drills every week which serves as fun as well as discipline for the dogs. I would definitely recommend classes at this facility. I’ve tried a couple other obedience classes before but this one far surpasses the others. They keep having customer events to bring all fellow dog loving clients together and have a good time but all of this while maintaining perfect training for the dogs. Keep up the good job Nick and Amy along with every other trainer.

Sit Means Sit is amazing. We’ve been taking our 115-lb shepherd there for almost a year now. We started him at 6 months old, and he was a dream puppy, and is now an amazing dog! I’ve recommended Sit Means Sit to many people now, and those people have become clients and raved about their services as well. The trainers are amazing. They will cater their training to yours and your dogs’ needs and remember everything they need to know before your dog walks in the door. Our dog gets so excited the second we pull into the parking lot. They offer so many times and so much flexibility that it works perfectly for your schedule. We take our dog in public, he can walk completely off-leash, he does not chase after squirrels or rabbits and he no longer pulls on his leash at all! Enrolling in Sit Means Sit is the absolute best thing you can do for your fur babies!

Sit Means Sit is an amazing program for your dog. I have been taking my dog for about 8 weeks now including private lessons and can see improvements in not only my dog’s behavior and confidence, but mine as well. Nick and all of the trainers are excellent with my dog who can be semi aggressive in nature, and they tailored a program that works perfectly for him. The best part is that my dog still has his quirky personality which I love and worried about him losing via what I have saw with other programs. He’s his happy go lucky self and enjoys his time with all involved at Sit Means Sit. Thank you to all for all you have done!!
