As the weather gets warmer you and your dog are probably wanting to take advantage of the sun and fresh air. Ward, CO 80481

Along a steady creek, you’ll discover the beautiful 4-mile Ceran Saint Vrain Trail. In early June you’ll discover this trail to be most popular due to the calypso orchids in bloom scattered across the forest floor. Round trip, the hike will probably take you and your furry friend 4 hours, unless you decide to continue on to the Miller Rock summit, which would add about another hour. The Miller Rock summit is a gorgeous lookout point for you and Fido to experience. Dog owners love the abundance of water around for your pup to cool off and play in, as well as plenty of shade along the trail.

Flatirons Vista and Doudy Draw Trail

3320-3458 S Foothills Hwy
Boulder, CO 80303

Enjoy a 3.7-mile hike with your canine companion on the Flatirons Vista and Doudy Draw Trail. Early spring is the time to visit this trail due to the mesa being in full bloom. During summer evenings this hike is stunning to be on as the sun sets behind the mountains. There isn’t much shade though so be sure to go during early mornings or nights to keep cool. During this low traffic trail, you will discover plenty of water along the way.

Golden, CO 80203

If you and Fido are looking for a challenge you need to check out the Beaver Brook Trail.
